I met Gary D (Warwick) in Venice Beach when I was surfing. I just approached him and said, “I cried when your character died”. He was really cool even gave me his number (I used to be in movie biz) and I never got nerve to call bc I heard he was a real life player lol. The show was never the same.

The show was never the same without Warrick.

The fact that he |s such an introvert underlines the times when he speaks from the heart.

I loved this show, until they killed Warwick. I never watched another episode. I have watched this clip here. I will never understand why they had to kill the character of Warwick. It was a stupid thing to do. The writers could have had him leave Vegas for another job. Leave the door open for the actor to come back when he was better. That one episode ruined CSI. Shame on the writers and those who thought this was a good idea. It wasn’t.

I read somewhere that they had to "kill off" his character due to the actor's drug usage..it got to be affecting his acting on the show.. I do liked his character very much.. .

I agree especially because Gary has long since recovered and is doing well, resumed acting, etc.

Ironically, he had.come through such a dark time and was at peace relaxing with his only real family right before he was killed by the evil Mckean. William Petersen's performance i.n this episode was tremendously powerful, Emmy worthy !!!

Whether it was Gresham, Nick Warwick Catherine, Sarah, they were all equal parts. If you take one of them away, there is no CSI. YOU can replace them, but it will never be the same.

Agreed. Im rewatching in Spanish to help me learn lol. Memories! I used to live in vegas when this was on and where they rarely shot this series.

I agree that killing off a character and replacing a popular actor can be a dicey proposition. One notable exception occurred on CSI Miami, when they killed off Tim Speedle..I ended up liking the new character, Ryan Wolfe , and the actor.who.plsyed him ,. Jonathan Togo, much better than Speedle and Rory Cochrane..

Angels among us is my most favorite song for funerals. When I saw Warrick Brown die in this episode I was really sad and mad about the man who really killed him. But I was happy they caught the cop.

Fantastic show. Great episode and story arc. I love me some Marg, and this is at her peak, prior to stepping over the line of too much plastic surgery.

Did they actually figure out who killed him ? If not that's a sad state of affairs considering in the show they have caught all sorts of killers but yet ........
