Just dropped in to say, holy crap this has improved my priest game by a lot. I prefer a tank build for him, and while the class is a bit different now just the weapon usage alone has helped me clutch so much better. I loved the part where you just zoomed into the gatehouse at the end and: Saltzpyre "There is something you heathens and devils do not understand. I am not trapped in this room with you. YOU are trapped in this room with ME.

I've been running HGH and flail and shield as well! Interesting build, going very health heavy with the ult seems to maximise the healing potential done. I wonder if block cost reduction is better than just straight up stamina though. You've inspired me to try doing solo runs! I keep dying because of specials and I can't kill bosses very easily because of lack of DPS but it's so much fun!

F&S for Hoards as it has higher Damage Cleave and almost as high Stagger Cleave compared to HGH. F&S for high amounts of Cleave Resistant enemies and Monks/Berserkers. F&S for Shielded enemies. F&S with correct Stagger breakpoints to control all Elites besides Chaos Warriors. HGH for low amounts of Cleave Resistant Elites. HGH for Chaos Warriors. (Cleave Resistant Elites are SV, Maulers and Bestigors) (Correct Stagger breakpoints on F&S on Cata are Opportunist for Berserkers and Opportunist + at least 27.5% Vs Monks on which I recommend Prayer of Might + 10% Skaven on Charm so you can have +10% Attack Speed on both weapons, 5% on Charm, 5% on both melee weapons)

Yo Kaje! I believe stagger would be better if utilized with the LV25 'Prayer of Might'. Here THP from cleave would give better returns and both weapons also do a great amount of cleave.

If your attack kills an enemy, then you don't get the THP on stagger. Both the Flail and Hammer have safe and realiable crowd cleave and each instance counts regardless if you kill an enemy or not with the attack.

Preference probably. I use stagger and reliably have no issues with thp, esp with flail and shield. Block attack is a fast way to get to the third light which has quite a bit of stagger

THP on Stagger doesnt work well with Flails for some reason(same with Sienna's fire flail). You generate like 1 THP per hit with flails using thp on stagger LOL also, with stagger you don't get THP from Chaos Warriors and Monsters and dying enemies meanwhile THP on cleave you always get THP no matter what you're hitting.

I think the cleave works better than the stagger in this build. And since cleave can be active in basically any situation, I think the advantage is that it can heal you in situations where you can't take stagger, such as bosses and CW. Well, there were no bosses this time. If you want to earn more THP and faster, you can use shield bash or 1H hammer to stagger.

It may be hard to tell, but I use Dodge at the same time as the charge attack. I have a habit of dodging during the attack motion, so it makes it difficult to see the dodge. During a skill, of course, if I fail to dodge, I will be grabbed.

I generally agree with you. However, I think that such a defensive build would be safe and interesting, but it would also slow down the kill speed and slow down the pace of the game, making it more difficult. At least for me.

On Cata for Shield Pushes, Opportunist would only add Berserker Breakpoint, for Monks Opportunist + minimum 27.5% Power is needed, so Prayer of Might+Skaven on Charm is good cus then you can have Attack Speed on Charm and both Melee Weapons

Flaming Flail is a safe bet. Mace and Dagger also work for me personally.

I've been really fond of crowbill (Block cost reduc, push block angle + opportunist) with nat bond necklace (block cost reduc, stam) pairing that into the push igniting enemies option in the second line seems to be extremely effective and safe while also literally cutting through armor. Fireball staff, beam staff or corusc staff all seem to work well for the crow clear and building of overcharge. Since the burn from the push is so strong and you can get a massive push from 1 heavy swing into the push you can cleave fat stacks of chaff enemies by literally shoving twice after a heavy. It also melts armor patrols when paired with the wildfire ult (middle one). I found it more effective than flail + chain reaction as it is more consistent/controllable. Though with teammates it is less likely to net fat kill stacks as your team will do finishing blows.

I’ve been practicing them on legend mostly and sometimes I’ll make it to the end of skittergate while most of the time I just wipe at the beginning Wondering if it’s just a thing where I need to practice more or if just most runs ends with death

I don't know the specifics, but there are relatively many maps where the first half is difficult, so I think it's inevitable that you will fail. Personally, if I'm not satisfied with the content, or if I'm not concentrating, I'll quit the game even if things are going well. Completing a map is not that important to me. Just play until you are satisfied.

in short BCR makes it easyer to survive mistakes but if you dont make many to begin with your not going to get mutch use out of it and may as well take more offensive trait's to kill things faster

Practice, usually you want to wait til their close and dodge to the side rather backwards. And if you can time it, try to hit them with a heavy to the head they usually go down

The attack has very good tracking, meaning that if you dodge early the life leech will likely catch you. However, it IS, dodgeable, it’s all a matter of timing

For Cata: Attack Speed+Crit Chance and Swift Slaying on HGH. Attack Speed+Block Cost Reduction and Opportunist on Flail and Shield. Charm Skaven+Attack Speed. Use Talent Prayer of Might for Stagger Power. This way F&S can Stagger all Elites besides Chaos Warriors with a push. HGH is best dealing with low amounts of Cleave Resistant Elites and Chaos Warriors, F&S is best for Hoards and Berserker type enemies and mixed Hoards/Shielded enemies
