Or you could say the problem has been that Dray hasn't been shooter. So one solution is, make him a shooter! The real thing with shooting is, do you have the length to offensive rebound? Also the salary number for a Gafford/Claxton/Reid type isn't available. Also the development of Trayce makes it hard. But you do want to develop that type, that's why we signed the G league all-time leader in blocks. Just envision a Gafford/Steph P&R, where do you put Draymond? So with Dray/Steph action, you just don't have traditional rim-running. And then you don't have the traditional rim protector, although Dray is the one and special on D. Bottom line: just don't worry about that whole "small ball" talk.
