These 3 groups have a ton of mind-blowing videos for you to watch. I'd reccomend watching Oogie Boogie's Song by VoicePlay next. If you wanna get into some of the other groups I'd recommend Daft Punk by Pentatonix or Man Of Constant Sorrow by Home Free. Keep up the great work! 🙏🏼❤️

Layne was the baritone when they started the group until Scott Porter, who was the beatboxer then, left for acting. Layne then took over. He does sing in various songs. He has a beautiful voice.

Hey Mally, there are 2 ways that I'm aware of to hit those low notes. One is called growl notes and the other is subharmonic singing. It is very difficult to pull off and Geoff (the bass) is one of the best I know of at singing subharmonic singing. Also there is an amazing country acapella vocal band called Home Free. I definitely recommend them as well. Their bass Tim Foust uses more growl to hit his 1 and 0 octave notes. Love the reactions!

Oh man, LOL! Your reactions are PERFECT. They're so much like mine, though a little more physically active. I could probably use the exercise, maybe you can start an aerobic video channel or something...I'm sure others have suggested Home Free and Pentatonix, so allow me to suggest something COMPLETELY different but equally awesome. Look up "The Hillywood Show." Pick a parody that appeals to you. I love your Reactions , you're so in to it and that makes you so charismatic . Layne has also singing/speaking Solos too for example in : Panic in 4 Minutes P2 , My Shot , Moana Medley , Aca Top 10 Broadway , Oogie Boogie Medley , Partwork Series , This Is Halloween . Yes, he is the beatboxer and he plays violin. At the same time! In Pentatonix, their beatboxer is Kevin and he also plays cello. In Home Free, Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and he IS a human full drum kit.

There are four acapella groups that you should check out if you don't already know. 1. Pentatonix 2. Home Free 3. Voice Play 4. Voctave All four bring something special to the genre and are exceptional in their own way. Pentatonix, Home Free, and Voice Play ALL have exceptional basses who just kill it. I'm partial to Home Free's Tim Foust who regularly hits some of the lowest notes I've ever heard. The frustrating thing for me, I AM a bass . . . just not in their class. They've all got a minimum of a 1/2 octave on me and most closer to an octave and a half. Makes me want to turn in my man card :P
