Warriors of Fate - Guan Yu (Portor) 1CC

My first Warriors of Fate clear, done last year. I think this is Capcom's best beat em up. The balance and difficulty level is just right, the graphics are awesome, there's a bunch of different characters to play as, it's just super well made all around.
Some bonus trivia: the localized version of this game is censored. The scene at the end of stage 5 where the woman kills herself was cut out. I'm not sure of any other differences besides character name changes.

It's just like when I once watched anyone playing Warriors of Fate, I was completely impressed by the gore inside, just like when I keep reading Yokoyama Mitsuteru's Sangokushi(Records of Three Kingdoms).

Even before Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and Onimusha were not yet in the drawing board, Capcom was already pretty hardcore with this game. There's something about the gore, like it doesn't comes as tasteful and rather comes artistic, kinda like with SNK's Samurai Shodown (except V Special, because even I know that went overboard with the Overkill Techniques).

Can't translate the actual dialogue, but can give context based on the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms novel. During the Battle of Changban, Zhao Yun (the middle guy in blue armor) rode off and found an injured Lady Mi and Liu Shan (the baby) near an old well. Not wanting to burden Zhao Yun and knowing enemy troops are approaching, Lady Mi entrusted the baby to Zhao Yun, and then jumped into the well. Zhao Yun would then strap the baby to his chest and fought his way out, safely delivering the baby to Liu Bei.

Probably Portor/Guan Yu. The green guy also seems strong.

@@DaimondRus I haven't tried him, but a good player I know says he's strong.

@@DaimondRus He doesn't have a combo like the others, he just shoots arrows. Its not viable, at least for me.
