I truly believe that starclan cursed yellowphang to be able to feel other cat’s pain so that she would become a medicine cat and never have kits. But they failed-

the part when yellow fang gets blamed for the kits dieing is wrong in the first warriors cats sieries i don't remember the book when she explains how we got exiled from shadow clan she said that broken star brought the kits to her and then the mother walked in and broken star blamed her but in this book they were out side of camp and the kits died to the foxes
