THIS DONE.
I started a video about Hollyleaf back in early December 2018 (!!!), then a completely different song was chosen, but partially the storyboard was similar. After I had a difficult academic year, and also a lot of things happened in everyday life and I abandoned the video.
In January of this year, I reviewed the storyboard, chose a new song, which even went better for this warrior, I think so. And I began to make an updated storyboard, replacing frames, adding something new.
Already in March, 1/3 frames were drawn, but there was no time to continue the video. However, in April, I was able to catch up!
AND FINALLY RELEASED THIS VIDEO. I hope you will like it!

Finally, someone who shows Squirrelflight grieving when Hollyleaf dies! I get that her forgiving Leafpool as she died was a big thing, but Squirrelflight was the mother, even if Leafpool's relations were biological, she didn't raise them. It makes sense that Squirrel would be more heartbroken, and the last one to say goodbye.

I really admire that you actually made Brambleclaw look like Tigerstar, a brute, yet gentle, just as the book described. I never see that much, nor do I see him looking extremely similar to Hawkfrost on any animations. Very very well done!!!

This PMV really fits Hollyleaf's atmosphere and her life. Also the tweening in this is really dramatic as well as the camera movements! It shows what kind of life Hollyleaf's living through!

I just reread power of 3, and it came to me. HOLLYLEAF IS LITERALLY LIKE A SERIAL KILLER. She’s like ‘this is a gathering everyone will remember’ and then she fricking tries to make leafpool commit suicide. Not to mention, she killed Ashfur and was ready to kill again at any time. She was so unstable. This really captures her POV

Her entire world was collapsing around her and she lashed out. The thing that ruled her life suddenly held no meaning because had it been followed, she wouldn't exist at all. Not to mention the discovery that she wasn't part of the Three. There was so much self-loathing at work that manifested itself in her actions, and suddenly she was trying to serve justice in a desperate attempt to restore weight to the code. I wouldn't call her a serial killer; she didn't do it for her own enjoyment. She only killed one cat and in her traumatized state of mind I don't think she was fully aware of what her thought process was leading her to do until it was done. There was a lot of loss in her character arc that pushed her to do things she never would have previously considered

may.bemegan yes, she wasn’t quite as bad as a serial killer, but that’s often what happens with serial killers. Their world starts to crumble, and then something pushes them off the edge into a downward spiral that leads to more killings, and mistakes. Kinda like Hollyleaf

I can relate to Hollyleaf in more ways than one, and wow this song really fit her. Nice touch of having Squirrelflight being devastated, she was the sbling's mother just as if not more than Leafpool. Still loving her niece even after so many months(?) of not seeing her, I felt so bad for her

This looks awesome! The song really does fit well, and I enjoyed seeing the different scenes played by your angle. I especially liked that she said goodbye to fallen leaves, even though I don't think it happened in the books. It's a scene I would have liked to read. Anyways, sorry that everything was so rocky getting here but I do hope you're doing okay!

I really love your designs, they’re absolutely beautiful! The lighting on the characters is also gorgeous, and the shading is too! A lot of these are my favorite designs, and that Squirrelflight one is the best design I’ve seen for her! And I really love how you make the eyes more like actual cat eyes, because a lot look like human eyes which is fine but I prefer more realistic eyes like how you did yours! Plus, they’re really shiny! Your PMVs are some of the best ones I’ve ever seen. Keep making these, because I think they’re adorable and lovely!
