The funny thing is the coworkers I play with LOVE playing with a deflated ball.. They must be a big fan of the patriots. They always refuse to play with my wilson evolution game ball cuz it's pumped and measured to have 7.5 psi. The worst thing is I practice with my properly pumped ball and nothing sticks when I play cuz the ball won't bounce at all lol.

i put 9 psi on my ball and it doesn't bounce as well as those you see in nba games. aren't they suppose to be the same ball if i bought directly from spalding? what gives?

Do you moisten the needle before inserting? It looks like you put it in dry, so without lubrication. No pun intended. I am team manager for a volleyball team in Belgium and I always use Select Valve Oil. This is perfect for keeping the valve lubricated when inserting the needle. All balls are still in perfect condition, no broken valves.
