Anyone know the name of the last man who spoke? Did he also speak about Treblinka? Would be interesting to hear about that too.

His name comes up at 20:15 as Sol Rosenberg. At the end, he says he was taken away to Treblinka, but the video ends at that point.

There are still living survivors, so there is not a "last survivor."

It is simply amazing that these young Jewish people rose up in the Warsaw Ghetto, to become some of the most badass fighters in history. They resisted the Nazi's longer than the entire country of Poland. We must always keep the spirit of freedom, stand up against racism & persecution, and resist oppression. 🇺🇲🙏🏻🇬🇧❤🇮🇱✌🏻

Another question is, since when dollars were a currency in occupied Poland? I don`t know how it was with a trade of arms, but i do know that lacking arms were a major problem for the resistance. They were even manufacturing thier own provisoric rifles and pistols and still they had nothing to fight with in 1944... It was not possible just to "send" the weapons from London like mr. Jakubowski said. Anyway, much respect from Warsaw, for both communists and "revisionists"...

US money came in through YIVO in the US to the ghetto for food and medical supplies, and I believe for guns. There is a book called 'Who Will Write Our History: Emmanuel Ringelblum and Oynag Shabbats' the book is very good.

@@melissapollom427 No doubt there was aid but what I ment was the currency, it had to be exchanged, USD was useles in occupied Poland. Smuggling was probably even harder. Thanks for a recommendation, I know very well who Ringelblum was. In return I recommend "Shielding the Flame", it's a report, a conversation of Hanna Krall with Marek Edelman. Also, "Conversations with an Executioner", talks between Kazimierz Moczarski and Jurgen Stroop. Both were put in the same cell by the soviets, one was a soldier of the Polish underground, the other was a person resposnsible for brutal crackdown of the Ghetto Uprising.

P.S. the strory of a "carrousel" 16:10 - on Krasiński square, at sunday 25 april 1943, Germans organised a propagand spectacle to show how the local people are anti Jewish. It was a whole campaign connected to the Katyń massacre assumed to the "Jews from Smoleńsk", a little group playing thier roles was accompanied by a crowd of silent people, afraid to say anything.... it was described in a poem "Campo di Fiori" of Czesław Miłosz, a witness and nobel prize winner.

These people are inspirational heroes. Innocent civilians engaging in self defense against an imposing military army is not a crime...please remember that with the Palestinians; their experiences are very comparable to the one being described in the video
