These are russian train cars, they are in use in Czech Republic and in Poland and in a lot of slavic countries. They are made in Мытищи, a town near Moscow. They are produced by "metrovagonmash"

This is not Metrovagonmash train! It's 81-572.2/573.2, built in 2009 (or 2013) by Vagonmash factory in St.Petersburg. Also, Warsaw have 81-572/573 with 81-717 mask design, but without "M" letter in front mask. Also plastic of interior in 81-572/573 (81-717 body) have dark wood texture

In Czechia ne "Czech Republik" or Česka Republika. And not Metrovagonmash but Метровагонмаш but in this moment the Метровагонмаш design bureau is fuse with Трансмашхолдинг or Transmashholding.

My first Metrovagonmash ride was August 1990 when the USSR was still a single country. Back then I only had a 35 mm point and shoot camera, plus a blank tape recorder, and I never heard of mobile phones at that time, that had built in cameras, still, video or otherwise. That is how far back my history of Metrovagonmash cars go. Also I have taken the Warsaw metro in October 2013, Swiętokrzyka being the closest station, that is my most recent Metrovagonmash memory.

Metrovagonmash are awesome. I first went on one in Budapest and it was amazing. There was only 2 left then, now they are all modernized.

The reason for such a strange decision was because Warsaw needed metro trains immediately, and only Metrovagonmash, who was producing metro cars for several cities at the time was able to built metro trains for Warsaw within one year. All of the Western producers claimed that they could not do it in such a short time.

This Metrovagonmash 81-572 has been in operated since 1990. The train was refurbished in 2008, which is why it looks like this today, and it is ugly as hell. Must be the ugliest metro train I’ve seen. I prefer the more original metrovagonmash designs.
