yeah I can see that, sure, xcom's story kinda blows but it at least keeps you engaged a bit more than battling no name NPCs constantly

@@REALVINERGY mostly because they oversimplified battle system and made it too random (in a bad way). It seems to me that xenonauts and phoenix point cope better as xсom descendants

@@roman7956 fair, it's kinda the bane of a lot of games from the 90s and early 2000s that suddenly get a sequel baldur's gate is the same, I love bg3 but it's nowhere close to what the original games represented
