The reason why only 3 choices is Tevinter, Antiva, Nevarra are in north of thedas. The choices of dragon age origins, 2 and 3 are only in Ferelden/orlais. Solas is the bond between Trespasser and dragon age veilguard so the choices about him are still in veilguard. It's logic. If we ignore the woke and the art direction (mods will fix that on the design of the qunaris etc it's not a major problem) we should enjoy the game as a good action game (the rpg aspect of origins is over)

My shit character just standing around and not fighting especially when I press mighty blow then he just do nothing. I’ve tried everything also kn tactics, sometimes he fight one after he died he standing around again. This is with far the most bullshit combat system ever made story sounds interesting but i will uninstall this shit game

Dragon age origins to get to even run on Windows now takes patch 1.4 or it will constantly crash. Obviously it's the best game in the franchise. Dragon age 2 was still decent to replay 12 times unlike beating origins over 21 times. DAI i beat it one time that was it each time i get to the palace i get bored. The newest game changed the name to The Veil Guard sounds like they do not want to do the dark arts this time around. Considering you could be one evil fucker in the 1st 2 games. All the origins are great stories with Human my favorite followed by Dwarf Noble then Commoner. City Elf can get 100 gold by letting the Human have his way with your sister. See evil! You cannot do that in Dragon age inquisition. Rogues did not need any strength until the DLC came out. And needed none in Dragon age 2.

Without having to list a bunch of stuff from the late 90s from the original PlayStation and then moving forward to the Dreamcast and so on, these are some great titles that came out within the last three consoles generations!

Another fun one for you guys out there looking for something for your Xbox 360 that might not have got as much love back in the day as it should have because it launched with some heavy hitters to compete with: Two Worlds 2 This game is way deeper than I thought it would be and while the graphics struggle to hold up as good today, it is still an amazing game with quirky/cheesy voice, acting cool and a very in depth, combat and magic that rivals that even elder scrolls, single player games !!!! One that a lot of people that are pressed for time might enjoy due to its characters, graphics and atmosphere that a lot of people skipped out on: Mutant year zero: road to Eden this game right here is a tactical strategy/stealth action/grid based RPG similar to fire emblem, except for the fact that prior to a fight, you move your characters around with full control, wild in stealth, and you go around the battlefield, looking for resources and trying to lure enemies that are outside of their other teammates vision, as well as their circle of hearing which will be on the ground... as soon as they are right outside of their teammate, being able to hear them or see them, then you use your characters with their strongest stealth weapons to surprise attack these guys and pick them off one by one before you attempt the group!!!! It is such a fun game, and one that will not require you to have the next six months, every single day free to dedicate to that game.... you can beat it in about 30 hours or less and the characters, the voice acting, the graphics and everything are just really catchy and enjoyable!!! It'll take you back to your childhood because like I thought "I would've really enjoyed this as a kid?" "This would be an awesome TV show.!?"

This is my favourite franchise, I have played a very single little flash game in it. The gameplay and the trailer felt like a mobile spinoff. I feel insulted that they think this is acceptable as the next mainline dragon age game.

The reveal trailer felt like the writers loved early MCU but never realized that people are tired of it now. I am bummed but not surprised this is what we got. I also cant imagine playing a mage with only 3 ability slots.

The first 20 seconds of gameplay I was pretty hype. Graphics look great, the setting was awesome, the restyling was meh at first but they restyle every sequel in the series. Then came the lack luster enemy design, "qUiRKy" dialogue, the Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay and lack of party control really disappointed me. Going back to watch the new trailer was the killing blow though.

Just to comment on what you said about the marketing being bad - that is another thing that makes me hesitant about this game. If they can be so tone deaf to what DA fans are looking for in the game then what will that say about other decisions (beyond the marketing) made that directly affect the game. If the story continues logically from where it left off and the previously established lore isn't broken then maybe I'll think about it but the marketing has me skeptical.

Honestly with the years between Inquisition and Veilguard (which by all accounts is a much worse title than Dreadwolf) made me kind of resign myself to this game being kind of a wash. Like I loved the literal years I spent in Thedas in previous games so much that I'm excited to just be back in it even if it's not how I expected it to be. Very much a love it for what it is and forgive it for what it isn't mostly because I'm not ready to see Dragon Age as a series be done due to a shit show of a development process and lack of communication. At the very least I'm fine spending $70 on a game that's meh as long as I get to look at something pretty for 100+ hours.

I'll be happy if Rook has the option to opinions and emotions. The Inquisitor was such a non-person, mine ended up 95% headcanon.

I get the feeling they where beginning on a mass effect game and then hard pivoted, or many of prior mass effect devs had influence. The UI gives me mass effect vibes, do not know why. This would also go with the similar sound and giving them commands, maybe someone is borrowing code?

gameplay per se will be the least of its problems... writing and tone seem completely off and thats way worse

It looks mid as hell. I'm just sick of this style of combat. I want to have to make deliberate, tactical decisions that will tpk my party if I fuck up, and a tone that feels like this is a real place filled with real danger and not a marvel movie, in a game with AAA production value. Guess fans like me can just get fucked. Thanks bioware.

When I play as a mage in dragon age origins I prefer to play as an arcane warrior as when you take the first level of the perk the armour and weapons that you use are based on your magic instead of your strength and if you build the character right you can end up being able to wear high level Jugganaugt armour

i know this video is satire but to avoid any confusion CA has confirmed that Warhammer 3 is the last Warhammer game so if they made a 4th one that would be a huge surprise for everyone anyway great video and you should check out the other titles and if you want true pain of playing a good game that will kick your ass harder then your drunk dad with combat boots check out Total War Atilla it is such a good game and basically the Dark Souls of Total War games

Piracy is not really ethical, but with the the game and DLC costing a lot and CA insisting on shipping it with the denuvo crapware rootkit, I really dont feel bad doing it. As for the comparison to 3 kingdoms, I agree objectively that its better, however I remember a youtuber once mentioned that both games were developed by 2 different ca studios and kingdoms had a newer better engine wich made more things possible, however as for diplomacy comparing total war warhammer 3 to 2 especially in terms of quality of life it made a great leap forward.
