*Details are explained using KZbin's subtitle function, so please turn on it when watching.
The F-111A, which was implemented in the latest update and has the F-number of a fighter jet, can carry up to 15 tons of insane bombs and rockets, and boasts the highest bomb load in WarThunder at the moment. I tried to verify how well each armament can compete against the huge top-rank battleships of each country. The AGM-12B Bullpup was omitted because its carrying capacity was small (only 4 rounds) and there was nothing noteworthy about the armament on the existing aircraft. The amount of explosive in a bomb is calculated rounding up to the nearest whole number.

I worked on the D models at Cannon in the 80's as a weapons tech. Most of the armaments shown in this vid is theoretically what it could carry. They never flew with 4 outermost pylons as that limited wing sweep. Only the 4 inside sweep. 111 never carried MERs, TERs, gunpods, or a lot of the other stuff. The only multiple ejection rack carried was the BRU3a which is the long black ones, and those were only carried on the sweeping pylons.

@acebrandon3522 The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Did operate these F111 Fighter bomber during the 80s to 90s and involved tge Last Military Campaign at Persian Gulf War 1991 Operation Desert Storm against Iraq 🇮🇶 forces

@Wongwanchungwongjumbo it was listed as a fighter/bomber and could carry the aim 9 and a gun in the weapons bay (D model only) but it never was used air to air. The mission of the 111 was fly fast and low to hit ground targets. It was also capable of carrying the B61 tactical nuke.

I liked how the F-111 pilots felt they needed to drop chaff while being shot at by direct-fire unguided munitions that were 30 years obsolete by the time the Aardvark entered service. ;)

Yes and Anti ship Missile along with Bombs and can take 2 Fighters to sink Enemy Battleship. The 1982 Falklands Islands War between Argentina 🇦🇷 against United Kingdom 🇬🇧 also one Argentine Etandard Fighter Attack Aircraft with 1 Exocet Anti ship Missile that struck Directly at British Royal Navy modern type 42 Destroyer HMS Sheffield and sank eventually Stern First.

Ｆ-111Aでは、たかが500ポンドでも、戦艦の時代の艦爆（アメリカでは艦攻）1機の急降下爆撃は500ポンド1発・・・・・。 50機の艦爆と同等・・・空母なら4隻ぐらいは必要。（艦爆特化でも護衛や直衛の艦戦は必要だから）艦攻でも日本の艦攻なら、概ね2000ポンド1発。（800kg）

Always love F111, Australia or RAAF use F111 for sea strikes which I seen carry 4 harpoons, even test bed for stand off weapons like LRASM.

I like how the ships start shooting at the plane because in those days I think the crew would be looking and thinking what the hell is that coming towards us and at speed no aircraft came close to. Apart from that good video. Found out in the 80’s when on exercise near RAF Lakenheath/ Mildenhall F111 didn’t like flares being fired near them, by the time police military and civilian got to the area we were long gone. Next time stick to or flight path for landing.

Well I'm not surprised HMS Hood died at the end, she was hit with well over the original. The Bismarck finally hit the Hood with the 5th salvo, with 1 direct hit with a 15 inch ( 1940 ish pound ) shell blowing up her magz. So being hit with 7,852kg of tnt, which is basically ALL 8 shells equivalent from Bismarck, that's lmao definitely gonna do it lol.

Bismarck got very, very lucky to sink Hood that way. Most likely the shell hit below the Hood's belt, which was too thick for Bismarck to penetrate at that range, in the trough of her wake.

Indeed, the Bismark wouldn't have looked much better herself if she was hit with a 15 inch. Plus Hood miss identifying the Prince Eugen as Bismarck, that's the only reason Bismarck was able to achieve 5 salvos. However it's hilarious how people seem to think Bismarck just turned up and with one shot kills HMS Hood 🤣, they would love to think so lol. @@Neneset

Back in the late 80s, there was a ship that there were going to sink to make an artificial Reef off of Florida. They had a squadron of F-4s bomb the ship.. Well it was an embarrassment. The F-4s kept missing the ship. My father was in the Air Force at the time, his squad load the F-4s. We watch it live on TV on the local station. I remember him say, they keep missing... There was a few that hit the target, but kept going right thru the ship. They were practice bombs, 500 pound concrete bombs, but it was still and embarrassment.

投弾するその時に捨てるかは微妙だけど、内側パイロンは後退角54度以上を使うなら接触するから全速で逃げるなら捨てる必要がある。外翼パイロンは角度変更できないから可変翼使用不能になる。冷戦が熱戦になった時は増槽を積んで目的地近くになったらパイロンごと捨てて高速侵入する想定だったらしい。（ソース不明）

@@user-bj1bk3ll5z ＞冷戦が熱戦になった時は増槽を積んで目的地近くになったらパイロンごと捨てて高速侵入する想定だったらしい。（ソース不明）小説の「ロシアの核」（デイル・ブラウン、ハヤカワNV）にそういう描写がありましたね。捨ててしまえば重量・空気抵抗は問題にならない。作者はF-111の元搭乗員なので、２・９番ハードポイントにも使いでは考えてあるという事だったのでしょう。

Another thing that needs to be considered, these ships would be maneuvering hard, making them very difficult to hit with unguided weapons. Laser-guided bombs would be far more effective and would likely allow the Aardvark to stay above the AAA.

@@JoshuaTootell Doesn't take all that much maneuvering to avoid unguided bombs dropped from >20,000 feet. The Japanese were particularly good at this, which made level bombers like the B-17 and B-24 essentially useless against IJN warships.

戦艦大和でも多数の750ポンド爆撃を受けたらお終いね基本艦橋には装甲が無いに等しいですからね実際戦艦武蔵は50ポンド爆弾1発で艦橋が無効化してマスカラ

The trick to using napalm on ships in actual matches, (I do this because its funny) Is to make sure you hit the front and back. She'll burn and burn and burn, just wiping out crew with ever tick of the server. Does not work on Full BBs unless they've already taken a bunch of hits, but BCs and down are highly susceptible to being covered in liquid fire. A1H with napalm against most ships is really rude, but that's why its funny!

低空から爆撃する場合、衝撃波や破片は自分よりも速く飛んで来るので、逃げるための時間稼ぎが必要です。ギニアビサウ独立戦争ではポルトガルのG.91が信管の不備で巻き添え墜落しています。

バルカンやロケット弾はウケる。ナパームは装甲があっても乗員が蒸焼きにならないのかな？別世界の話になりますが昔の怪獣映画(バルゴンギャオスギララガッパ)ではF-104がサイドワインダーを撃っていました(笑) 恐らく今でも(素人あるあるだけど)戦闘機(攻撃機)が爆撃するなんて想像もしない人いると思う。

The Bullpup can only carry 4 rounds and its power is limited(⁠one shot of TNT is 50kg) and the Phantom and other aircraft of the same generation can also carry it to the same extent, so it didn't have enough impact to introduce it as a strength of the F-111. The bullpup vs battleship content is included in Kongo vs. Guided Weapons, which I posted in the past. If necessary, would it be better to include those weapons next time?
