I love the Churchill tank, yes it's not at all fast but it's very well armoured (and can take a battering), well armed and inside it can carry alot of gear (one wonders how they manage to fit it all inside along with 5 crew members aswell!) and my favourite story about the Churchill tank happened in North Africa where a Luftwaffe Field Division were encamped on this massive hill with very steep slopes and they thought being on this hill they were safe from Allied tanks... enter the Churchill tank which easily went up this hill (I think it was 3 of them if memory serves me correctly) like it was nothing at all and the Field Division got evicted off this hill pronto! The Churchills had a field day knocking out all this stuff and putting the fear of God into the Germans; you'll be pleased to know that those men in the Churchills got decorated afterwards for their actions that day.

Thats just it, its only "pretty", nothing else lmao, in the ~70 games I've personally had with it I've maybe gotten 3 flamethrower kills out of it, first 2 were at such close range a normal Churchill could've just MG'd them, last one I shot over a building so that one was dope ngl.

But Gun carrier is just a whole nother level, at a distance everyone except a few tank destroyers are unable to pen you. Just make sure to not get flanked tho.

well. i still wait for the Churchill Mk II which removes the howitzer. in favour for another machine gun and some mudguards the Mk IV with the 57 or 75mm gun thats not the sherman gun. waiting for the AVRE Mk VII with the 165mm and the Mk III* (Star) variants with the 75mm or addon armour. these variants are missing and should be added in Mk II at 3,3 Mk IV at 4,0 Mk III* at 4,7 Mk VII AVRE at 4,7-5,0. honestly its cheap to add em in as the parts are there. literally just 2 hours worth of work

The first Churchill in Rank 2 tech tree is pretty much 'invincible' if you know what you are doing. Most rank 2 vehicles cannot pen it's armor so if you are confident and have your team support you can pretty much tank and get the attention of the enemy while you team lighter vehicles can outflank the enemy and give fire support. Though this situation is really rare as you always gets uptier and you have to fight against Shermans and Panzer 4s.

As much as I love the Churchill tanks they aren't very good. General tips would be to learn how to angle them properly. A properly angled Churchill can shrug off near about everything. Make sure you pay very close attention to your surroundings. An enemy surprise will almost always kill you. Last and most importantly keep it at its battle rating. Short of the Black Prince the Mk 3 is the only version with a decent gun.
