@@Lxcx333 the thing is : jets gameplay is completely different from the props gameplay, especially in terms of air performances it's really frustrating too when you see random level 5 newbies that just buy an OP top tier premium jet (or tank) when you worked hard to obtain yours by the legit way and it's not the only one issue because they constantly acts like they are playing props and get quickly killed, leaving you alone this issue was really a problem for allied teams when gaijin released the XM1 premium tank, so much games with XM1 only that all died without real backup result ? : the half of your team dies, exit the battle, and leave you alone facing a full team of "Veterans players" that will win in the less 5 minutes following the lemming massive sacrifice

@@Lxcx333 it's because starting from the low ranks and progressing teaches you how to dog fight, starting with planes that are very forgiving. You get incrementally faster and stronger aircraft so you understand the techniques by the time you get to jets, which are much more cut throat than bi planes. If you skip this you get people who don't know how to dog fight and get frustrated

T-55AM-1: Add-on armour effective against AA guns, lower calibre guns, APDS and "low pen" APFSDS (Easily tanks 3BM25 (129mm @ 10m 60*)). Type 69 II-G: Gun wise, it fires slightly better APFSDS (About 30 more mm pen for every range/angle.) However no APHE, ATGM's or smoke shells. (HESH is broken, so that's pointless for the Type 69 II-G. T-55AM-1: Fires APHE and APFSDS that pens everything and more at 9.3. Has barrel fired ATGM's for really long range or tricky shots. Tyoe 69 II-G and T-55AM-1 have extremely similar mobility. The T-55AM-1 has literally no business being an 8.3 vehicle. It should be 8.7, just like the Type 69 II-G, as they're basically identical.

The problem with the lightning is that it's just a bad plane. Since it can't fight other top tier jets very well, they lowered it and locked it into mostly subsonic matchmaking so the British players could pretend they made a good supersonic.

When a shell fragments after penetration, are there various sizes of the spalling and are they of different numerical value? Also are all the modules in the tank identical in the health points across all tanks? (modules like ammo and the forms it comes in, fuel tanks, engine etc) It seems like I'm asking too much, would it be better to dedicate a video on this topic? There's an issue with the flight model. I had the privilege of talking to a navy Phantom II pilot and they used the superior climbing and thrust of the F4 to beat Mig 21s in a more vertical fight and horizontal fights were to be avoided. He explained to me the "egg" as well. Below 15,000 ft, 4,572 m, the F4 out performed the speed limit of the mig as well and could outperform the mig both at mil power or afterburners for acceleration. Optimum corner speed is approximately 450 kias. I figure that's knots ias because he was a naval pilot.

I think it would be really cool if you guys added a bomber escort game mode. You could have like 50 AI bombers being protected by player-controlled escort fighters and attacked by player controlled by interceptors. Success would be determined by the amount of bombs that hit their target and the amount of bombers that make it back. It would look super cool if it didn’t have player markers and used historical aircraft from a specific battle, like P-51Ds and P-47s protecting B-17s and B-24s from BF-109s and FW-190s, or BF-109s protecting HE-111s from Spitfires and Hurricanes. This is usually only possible in events or custom battles, but I think a lot of players would like playing it as an actual mission. Attempt #1

Dude it is so over-rated, the grind is unreal with a premium account AND a premium jet. Enjoy your time in game and don't push for a high tier jet. In time, you'll get it. Trust me, I know. I got the F-4E and it's not worth it stock. Battlecruisers are on the 2020 backlog. As for true battleships it will take longer time as naval needs to adapt to these changes. Developers have hinted that naval will see significant change by year's end.

IJN Kongo will give hell with it's 14 inch guns outside of any cruiser range, HMS Furious will outgun, outrange and most likely outrun every single WWII BC and will one shot everything smaller, mostly because 18 inch guns firing shells weighting more than average car. Maps have to be like 2-3 times bigger, because all the 12+ inch guns have like 30km max range and range finding tools to measure accurate fire on those kind of distances.

Waited for the TT Jets comparison and was just watching them compare climb-rate, kind of turning rate, missile range, and bomb-load. Yeah, there's allot more to it than that... F4E/EJ has flares where nobody else does. Some planes don't have RWR. Some missiles perform better in other aspects (R-60's being dangerous up close, but losing energy faster over range than Aim-9J's). Acceleration was not tested. Fuel loads were not compared. Radar performance was not compared. You get the point. Also, I find it funny that they were talking about the F-104S for Italy being able to carry 6 missiles like it's an advantage, but I do not remember the last time I have seen one get a missile kill in game because Aim-9B's so useless XD

Yeah. You know what? Let’s stick together a sort of “bonus round” down here to compare the other characteristics: Avionics: hands down, the winners here are the Phantoms. Radars so powerful the game simply doesn’t have room to put things out of their sight, RWR to detect incoming attacks, and Flares to break a missile lock when all Hope seems lost, the phantoms are notoriously difficult to put down in WT for their “soft” technology edge On the flip side, the Lightning and Draken both come up a bit short here. Most of the fighters have at least some form of Radar, but these two have very lacking avionics in comparison to their rivals, leaving them blind in foul weather. Maneuvering: the undisputed king of Aerobatics at top tier is the Draken, for its ability to turn on the head of a pin. The Mirage, while lacking the absolute turnrate of the Draken, still holds up well here. It also can maintain its energy in turns better than the Draken The Mig’s follow in a more distant 3rd place. They aren’t particularly nimble, but they don’t have any real “stiffness” to them either At the end, it’s a bit of a mash between the Phantoms, Starfighter, and Lightning, which all suffer from little to no turning ability at low speeds: the Starfighter suffering from its small wings giving no real “bite”, with the Phantom simply being too heavy to keep comfortable in hard maneuvers at low speed Ammo load: while all of the fighters have enough firepower to hobble an enemy with a quick burst, the Starfighter and phantoms have far more leisure to work towards a shot (the 104 has 110 rounds more ammo, but the the 640 rounds of both phantoms is still very good, and they can also equip Gunpods for even more ammunition to work with) The Mirage comes in after this, with 125 rounds per gun, and 2 guns. The RoF means this is expended somewhat fast, but their is still enough for a good shot to grab a few kills The Lightning and Draken, with a measly 90 rounds, follow after. They use almost identical weapons to the Mirage, but with less ammo to work with, you have fewer chances to get a clean shot Finally, the Mig’s are stuck with a measly 200 rounds for their Cannon with high RoF and somewhat low velocity, making it extremely challenging to hit the enemy before your supply runs out

There is a problem with soviet IS-2.... When you are reloading you have to get the barrel in horizontal position. This is quite important historical detail. And it should be added in the game.

Why would you pick the Lightning as a comparator to all the other 10.3 aircraft for this test? It's not like you were only picking domestic aircraft, because the Japanese had the Phantom, and the Germans are competing with the MiG-21MF... why not allow the Phantom FGR.2 to be Britain's competitor?

Gaijin, i think that you need to make a whole new game (or add in War Thunder) about modern battleship and plane combat MMO game. Because there are a lot of modern vehicles that would be very very cool if they are made like War Thunder vehicles, like the F/A 18 Hornet, submarines or maybe new battleships like the Zumwalt and modern aircraft carriers. Because i think that in the War Thunder game now, there are no modern aircraft carriers, plane, and battleship
