What a guy!! In constant pain because of his dwarfism, he and his wife lost two children shortly after they were born. Absolute proof it's not how big the man is in the fight, it's how big the fight is in the man.

how could he and his wife even have been married let alone be having children shortly after they were born - u need to be at least 16 to be married....unless ure being metaphorical....or what???

@@CheekyFest thats my point - how could they have been having children shortly after they were born - unless its different for dwarves - or did he mean metaphorically - as in because dwarves are small theyre still child like - which if thats the case its a bit rude to be honest....
@CheekyFest3 жыл бұрын
@@tman5363 erm. I don't know how to explain this. Some children die . Sometimes they die not long after being born. What Dan means is 'Warwick Davis and his wife had children. The children died.' Warwick and his wife are still alive.

Met Warwick, his wife Samantha and baby daughter Annabelle on the set of "The New Adventures of Pinocchio" on location in Luxembourg with my daughter Gemma who played the part of "Blue" ...Warwick generously invited us out to a really nice Bistro for dinner with his family. He was charming, warm and delightful company. Gemma was 12 and just loved to carry Annabelle and spent the rest of the time on the film cuddling her under the watchful eye of Samantha. One of the warmest memories I have since being in this industry for 55 years.

Yep Willow was the main thing I knew you by in my childhood and remember to this day. 😊😊 Never knew you were an Ewok until now, which we ALL Loved. My Grandfather had Polio as a baby and was only 4'10. I never noticed him as different until someone pointed it out at my school. It did not change my opinions of him ever though. He was A Giant among Men. 😊 Warwick is a good Actor. I am surprised he is not in more movies.

Celebrities always give a talk like this and then there's a Q and A. If the guest is involved in politics / academia then the chair person will ask questions instead of it just being a talk. Followed by a Q and A. There are lots of examples on the channel. The Cambridge Union is vastly superior as the Oxford students and chair can at times be extremely biased with their views if there is a speaker who doesn't politically align with theirs. Check out the Ben Shapiro talk at both Universities if you're interested in the stark comparison.

Edit: he has so many good stories., and he has a lot of wisdom. The stories about Mark and Carrie and Val with the Sunglasses are so heartwarming. I love how open he is with his stories about challenges he has. So many things I’d never think about. Maybe we should consider including step-stools in disabled toilets. A plastic one is like 3£ Omg him geeking out over Doctor Who is so cool. And when he pulled out his Professor Flitwick 🥹

Very charming. I love his sense of humor about things. Humor is a great mechanism for coping with anything in life and in seeing the joy in it, which is what I loved about Life Is Too Short. Meanwhile, he reminds me, a bit, of the brilliant actor Michael Dunn, who played Dr Miguelito Loveless, in the classic Wild Wild West tv series, and appeared in Star Trek. Dunn was a tremendous actor, regardless of his physical stature and made you accept his character, beyond the physical appearance. he also had a tremendous singing voice, which he got to show off, on TWWW.
