Bass is one of my current consuming interests, besides music as a whole and astronomy. I can't actually play a bass, but I would be more than willing to learn how to especially (but not very damn likely) if the bass I was learning on was one of these:) Oh and a amp to play it through wouldn't hurt matters either :P

the new rockbass basses now have the "W" on the head stock the truss rod cover says "model name" by rockbass, and the actually have the german parts in them now including the pickups, the actual bass in made in china rather than Germany, the new rockbasses with the "W" are light years ahead of the old ones that said rockbass but its not a warwick either!

If it has a bubinga body (which many do), then it will most certainly be heavy. The ash models are rather light, though.

@aspiniou Alder body, 2 piece bridge, maple neck with an ekanga stripe, matching headstock, 2 Jazz-Bass-Style MEC-Pickups (like a mix of EMGs and Bartolini), 2 band EQ, volume knob and balance knob, just-a-nut saddle and a rosewood finger board. I think that should be everything :)

I'm not sure if the weight balance of this warwick model is correct or confortable, has anyone of you played this model? Is it comfortable the weight balance for you? I would like to know that, thanks for the answers :)

If you haven't gotten one yet, I know they're pretty well balanced from working on a buddies. The body's got a nice rounded shape to it that's really comfy as well. I'm a guitarist but I've played a few basses along the way and this one felt really nice once I got it setup for him. If you can try one locally you should but they are really good quality. One warning though apparently you need to have a USA made 1/4in Cable because the ones that are foreign made are a shim smaller so those cords lose connection on the input. Not just being pro USA material here, guess it's just different measurements that are minimally off.

This bass will be my 3rd Warwick. Absolute pleasure to play, and German made. You can't....honestly, hate on German made. I was born and raised in America. And I sure as hell don't want to get in a pissy fight over U.S. vs. Germany. But my Warwicks are my favorite basses. They are just beautiful, and play like a bitch! Tone is sweet, and the quality of their products are second to none! Warwick is damn hard to beat....

Why should he do it in english? It is a german company, that wants to sell their products, so they make this videos. Its just more work for them. this guy is doing it, because he gets money for it :p If you want to understand, what he's saying learn some german. i'm also not a german native speakter but I learned it^^ im sure there aare also videos on youtube, where you can get the specs in english. greetings from turkey :p
