@@zaboo4088 to a degree, but increasing the required gunskill did help. I'm fairing better on kbm with worse movement honestly. People are easier to hit up close. Even though I can't break cameras, bad players have a hard time hitting shots with the recoil guns have so it's helping me at least. Unless I played with a squad that could do the building clearing last wz (after the 2 big updates) I would just get holes put in me.

The biggest issue I run into when it comes to gun fights is being shot and getting insta-fried with what seems like 1-3 bullets. Only to see on killcam that they unloaded a whole mag into me but I only experienced the last few bullets, essentially even LESS time to react due to the incredibly fast TTK. They need to tweak SO much of this game for it to feel better.

it's sbmm/eomm in place, game's playing you, not around. People even experience aim resist, there's whole patent behind this. People need to stop support Activision for few months and boycott this ai assist, which basically states, if you're too good we will regulate your game so you aren't :D

You touched on most everything I have an issue with but a big big one is server stability and latency. I have huge latency spikes and it's almost always DURING gunfights. Makes you think some of the people complaining about skill based hit reg are right sometimes.

They need to limit the amount of self revives you can hold, and also only have them at the buy station. Everyone seems to always have one, and there isn’t an audio cue either!

Today I almost had a mental breakdown about just how bad K&M is in this game. Best example is gulag, and glocks within it - it's just so unfair that I can't wrap my head around it. And then your video popped up, it might be a sign to give up. I just don't care enough about this game to force myself into different input which I don't like at all. I had a blast in Verdansk, I never liked Caldera, this game is just another step into direction I'm not interested in. Stay clear-headed, keep up the good work!

Yeah the pistols are most noticable w aim assist. They don't fucking miss. At all. I start shooting and can't fucking see them because the gun and ironsight blocks out the player I can't even see wtf I'm shooting at. Why can't there be real guns in the fucking gulag

@@twassell25 I can somewhat manage fighting with the X12 or the P890, but the Deagle is basically a death penalty for me in the gulag. I'm actually decent with it in MP with an optic but can't see anything with the iron sights.

None of these so called "top players" can seem to pinpoint the issue though. Like c'mon, if you're so good you should be able to tell where the issue is but instead they're probably just feeling some placebo effect. There's no input delay nor acceleration. There is one problem though which is that different guns have different ADS sensitivities even when using the same sight and that can definitely throw off your aim and tracking.

Warzone 1 just had a different swag to it. Trickshotting, vehicle plays, breaking ankles, using wacky fun load outs. Warzone 2 just feels slow and lifeless

Thanks Blue! Agree with all your points Blue. I wish someone from Activision would talk through their decisions many of which you brought up because some of the game play decisions don't make any sense from Activision's perspective. The reason there is SBMM is to protect the casual gamer. Advanced movement gives sweats a huge advantage but if SBMM protects the casuals what is the upside in disabling advanced movements like slide cancel, bunny hops, and stims? Those mechanics make the game faster and more fun which even casuals benefit from and since it's less likely that they get dumped in sweaty lobbies I don't understand the decision. I also don't understand why the developers want ground loot to be used a higher percentage of the time over Warzone. People are more likely to buy DLC if their pimped out guns are easier to get. Many times the game pacing is like watching grass grow. If people had better mobility, along with better vehicles, and eventually redeploy balloons, they could speed up the zone close and that would add more action to the game. You should definitely be allowed to buy your loadout which would also speeds up play. I think people would feel better about the game if the reasoning for some of these decisions was discussed. I know I would. I jumped back into Caldera the other day and wow the movement, the UI, map mobility just felt awesome. Let's hope someone from Activision comes to their senses and gives us some of these features back.

At least to me it tells a lot that it's so much easier to stop playing this game compared to Warzone 1. WZ2 Get frustrated -> get off the game, WZ1 get frustrated -> toss a furious rant at your team mates, then proceed to play some dozen games more.

As a kb+m player, it feels good to see another top player in the game confirming how overpowered aim assist is. This is a perfect rant and as an average player even I agree with this stance everything about the game is so slow and money is so scarce it’s ridiculous and the hav thing as well is absolutely atrocious I do so happen to like the plating system but hate the fact that you can’t pick up up back packs after someone dies…

As som1 on mnk with a low budget pc. I used to be able to run wz1 on a steady 90-110 fps. With everything optimized for performance as I could, wz2 struggles to keep 60 fps and drops most of the time aroun 50-55. I know I need to upgrade soon but for now with such low performances, servers issues and the input feeling awful, it's really hard to have an experience that isn't frustrating and consistent. Enthusiast with the QoL changes that could improve the game a lot but it's sad that mnk fixes and rotational aa balancing are a fever dream. Wish it could be fun to be a casual mnk player in wz2

Hit the nail on the head... hopefully with this game they start acting faster than Warzone 1, as the engine of Warzone was the excuse for many things, what are the excuses now :? Considering that they almost instantly fix exploits that benefit the players, such as money glitch which allowed people to level up guns faster, but when it comes to dev errors and many other things that affect the core gameplay, they sleep on it.

Alot of good points made by Blue here, but I would just like to add that one of the biggest things this game is missing is any kind of skill or even uniqueness. WZ was not the first BR out there but it felt different and unique from every other game out there. WZ2 just feels like any other BR game. I honestly think they designed DMZ first then just slapped WZ2 on it. The way WZ2 is now, would be perfect as a DMZ mode but definitely doesn't fit for a game called WZ2. Everything that requires skill in the game is removed, and everyone is slowed down as much as possible but in all honesty, I don't think casual players will enjoy this game in the long run either.

They removed/gimped basically every single mechanic in the game, sliding, loadies, plating (3 plate vest system is trash), can't even double bhop (ridiculous), single UAV per buy, perk 'packages' instead of choosing your own, horrible TTK which makes every single gunfight a coinflip/incredibly 1 dimensional, annoying loot/backpack system, adding AIs into the main BR, I could go on... basically every single thing got worse, now watching Aydan or Blue 1v4 is literally boring when before it was hype af. Makes me sad cuz I loved WZ and the MW2019 engine SO much, now I literally don't even play WZ2 cuz it's actually WZ 0.5. I genuinely despise Activision at this stage.

You’re totally right Blue. Fact that there’s no movement in this game makes me everyone look the exact same. I mean obviously you can separate the way a total bot plays and an actual good player plays but between two good players there’s no difference. All those other things about the game fundamentally need to be changed as well I’d agree I mained FFA and rebirth for the most part in the first game to be fair so the thing at the top of my list is definitely movement.

Has anyone ever had a problem with the reload system of your weapon in the old Warzone you used to be able to cancel your reload if you were getting approached by an enemy while reloading if I reload a gun and hit cancel on my Reload or switch weapon when I go back to the weapon I was reloading it will continue the Reload animation and I cant cancel out on it. I’ve had to style on so many gun fights and wait in a corner or a building to let my gun reload. I mainly use LMG’s.

2v2 gulag and load out accessibility are my biggest gripes at the moment. Still think the loot system was a backward change, but I'm getting used to it at least. Apart from those, crash fixes and 100 quality of life/common sense changes are needed. Everything except for the map was a downgrade from WZ1.

PC player here, I also made the switch to controller for COD and Apex Legends. Other games KBAM for sure but those 2 controller feels good and I'm having fun again. Been KBAM for years so it took some time to get used to but now I'm just as good on the sticks as I am on the mouse.

I’ve found a fix for the time being. Relative and turn all individual custom sensitivity to 1.2. It’s not great but it feels cleaner

My issues with the game are not being able to run and plate, the gulag, and the overall pacing. As for the pacing I think the only way to fix it is to add more cash, reverting buy stations so uavs and other items are unlimited, not splitting the zone, and letting us buy loadouts off rip. I also think the fact that people can carry multiple air strikes also slows down the pacing a lot cause they can just bombard you for minutes at a time.

I havnt even played a single game of warzone 2 yet and only played a handful of multiplayer. Still havnt finished campaign mode either. Got so burnt out with all the crap wz1 went through from constant buffing and nerfing weapons, intergrations, and everything else. I just don’t know if I can go through it all again. Totally agree it has become a hard sell for streamers. There’s no finesse or style that makes people stand out. Reaction time seems to be meta now, even then it’s a coin toss.

Noone seems to call out the lack off choosing crossplay off for pc players ! PS players have it . Really sucks , at least give us the option in the bloody multiplayer (paid freakin game) .

I think the mouse input is due to the visual recoil animation. Because you can move the mouse faster than the animation it lags and doesn't feel fluid. Warzone 1 was the best BR that has ever come out (pre-caldera and cold war integration that is) and in warzone 2 they took out everything that made it great. Me and my homies play apex now. Not a perfect game but better than warzone 2. I would love to see you play apex, I hope you try it out one day on stream

I have never noticed anything wrong with the mouse input and I have well over a decade of KBAM gaming experience across many titles before WZ2. There's no input delay or acceleration.. I think the inconsistency people are experiencing comes from the default 'Relative' ADS setting which changes ADS sens based on the weapon you're using. For example pistols and AR's have completely different ADS sensitivities even if both have iron sights. You can fix this by changing to the 'Legacy MW' setting. I've tried to get back into controller but the movement and everything besides the aiming is just so clunky and there's more to outplaying your opponents than just tracking.

I have the best idea for warzone get Activision to hold polls on there game just like they did with the world cup where the community can vote on what they want. The problem is KBM players have to practice to even stand a small chance against average controller players so they get pretty good on the whole and well thats just not acceptable in a world where "every ones a winner" Activision and a host of games companies have decided they dont like skill gaps and would rather put out dry consumer products in the hope of getting everyone to play which includes 5-6yr olds the old and infirm and just about anyone with money actually rather than making a high quality in depth detailed product that takes time to master... and yeah tracking left to right etc is like dragging your mouse through custard, controllers are for driving games though so...

I swapped about 2 weeks after the game came out. ive never used a ps5/4 pad ever. it was so good i didnt even switch back once. bumper jumper tactical with 15/15 sens. it just shouldnt be better but i'm dropping more kills and winning more games. I've never had the confidence to rush people/squads, but now its all i do.

another issue is of when we run crouch we cant instantly put the scope on!!! we can only scope after we have completed the full crouch and the movement is finished

I am a casual m&k player and agree with a lot of what you said. I am debating on switching back to controller myself after seeing everyone that actually researches aa talk about it. I think the game can be good but it needs work.
