Honestly Warzone 2100 might have one of the best campaign designs, and unit automation features of any RTS of it's time, and possibly in the genre. It has features that games released today can't even conceive of adding, it's unreal.

Oh my god. I remember this. I played it on my PS1. I got stuck somewhere with the mission to protect some building that produces cyborgs or something for about a month or so. Gradually managed to finish it till the end. And Launching the nukes to hit the satellites was an incredible feeling. Thanks for the memories.

Oho, a good choice. Great game. I’m still annoyed at how this game did cyborg infantry dirty - introducing it to the player way too late to be viable, and robbing it of iconic veterans system for whatever reason. Great atmosphere and story though. If I may be so bold as to propose a game - Metal Fatigue. One of my very favorites, if janky. Never can go wrong with giant mechs.

It's funny that you propose Metal Fatigue: I've played it two weeks ago and it will be one of the next videos :)

Ya know… I have to ask, how do you manage to find aaalll these old relics? (And I mean relic in the best way possible)
@GameIntrosFinales6 сағат бұрын
If by "finding" you mean what RTS games are out there: Research and my memory (I've been playing such games since the 90s). If you mean "finding" in the sense of where to get them: GOG, Steam, Ebay, my own old collection.

There are specialized abandonware resources too, easy to find even by the most casual of searches. Wikipedia also keeps a pretty full and comprehensive list of titles per genre, RTS included. As a note, most of the titles played on the channel so far I wouldn’t call obscure in most ways - there are much more obscure games.

Oh, now that’s a blast from the past. For how incredibly unique those games were, I will say - gameplay, interface and controls really didn’t age well in some places. But it’s still a great series.
