so so glad you mentioned the sonic suppressor, its definitely in a couple of my mid-long ranged builds. so for big MP maps, war and invasion modes, that lack of ADS penalty can make a difference. another attachment for medium to long range i found helpful (maybe not so much the SVA545 based on what you say about the recoil) but the other AR/BR's the bipod v9 grip, yes theres an ADS penalty but the recoil and gun kick boosts i think are worth it. hopefully the optic you mention which unlocks with week4 challenges unlocks unlike the rifle conversion for the TYR in week 3, which so far doesnt appear to be (despite the padlock looking unlocked) speaking of optics, thank you for the ARES CLEAR SHOT recommendation, (cant be used with any of the 5 bipods) for long range optic, the gun kick and recoils boosts are definitely worth the ADS penalty. Built with battle rifles and or marksmen rifles these have decent mid-long range accuracy.

Been using this since the start and bumped into a few other people using it on single fire and it really is impressive. I've had some really good long range kills with this even from the top of one of the cranes. Very solid weapon of you like burst firing.

@@dilhancongar-pn1nd BRs in general have never been about frying people and making montage shots; thats what multiplayer is for. BR is built for strategy and positioning. Now sitting in corners for half the game is boring as fuck and really doesn't win you games but using easy guns just frees you up for taking any power position and not worrying about whether you should take an engagement due to range differences. Why make things harder than they need to be.

So I hadn't played Warzone 3 at all until yesterday, I'd made the usual meta LMG classes but decided to give this a go first as a super easy to use weapon & all that happened was I got into gunfights with snipers because I'd be overly confident at range & would waste all my ammo & get loads of damage but hardly any kills. I ended up with a 1.3kd trying this. At some point today I just swapped to the 'PKM' & now my KD is around 2 with a 17 kill win under my belt using the build from TGD's earlier long range meta video & the Swarm from the short range meta video.

Been using it on full auto for a while and just alternating bursts when needed. Bruen Pivot grip fixes the full auto vert recoil.

Inside 50m, it is clearly broken, though just past the line, in my opinion. Gets a little less after that, as the slight side-to-side separation between the first and second rounds of the burst is just enough to miss head shots reliably. However, the fire rate makes up for it IMO, as people aren't expecting that many rounds to come, so they'll challenge like you have some other meta.

I would never use a scope with a glint though, if you're already killing slower you want as much free fire as you can get. It surprises me people think the puelmyot and ram7 have "hard" recoil though. I'm also on mouse and the Puly having easy recoil + larger mag makes it more reliable in squads.

You should check out the Holger 26 LMG. It has barely any recoil and a 60 round base mag so you don't need to use one attachment slot for the mag.

Hi Tony, thanks for a very informative video. You should try metaphors build on the ram7, it is banging and has literally 0 recoil with the clean iron sight. Only negative is no suppression. The build is: Casus Brake Muzzle, Cronen Headwind Long Barrel, Brunen Heavy Support Grip, 40 round mag and HVS 3.4 Pad stock. It also works on longer ranges but ofc midrange is were it is at. looking forward to see what you think! Happy new year!

Strangely enough, I've tried that exact build but there is still some horizontal recoil. When Metaphor or Strahfe use it, they have zero horizontal recoil...are we to believe they are controlling random horizontal movement?

Funnily enough, I got mowed down by this gun just yesterday and watching the killcam, homie was in semi auto tap firing with zero recoil. It was mid range so I melted which is why I watched the killcam.

There is a setting to make it where you can hold down the trigger for burst weapons. You should make sure to turn that on.

That setting doesn't fire at full Semi auto RPM tho, it isn't worth turning on because of that because you can likely get significantly closer to the RPM cap by spamming the trigger.

I tried it out but it ruins all Single shot weapons. Pistols and guns like the MTZ Interceptor are unusable if you turn this on, it only works for burst rifles

If you don't switch the gun into single fire mode, but still shoot with the fastest cadence you're comfortable with, you get the same resulting Hyperburst benefits (magic bullets and zero recoil) but with built in forgiveness if your cadence isn't perfect... I would wager that, tested over time, the forgivability of not switching to single shot mode would net the average player better realistic TTK's in game... In single fire mode, without perfect cadence, there are gaps in firing where your bullets are slightly delayed. In regular fire mode, but with single tap trigger cadence, these gaps don't exist...

Yes i think it might be better to straight up tap fire im full auto mode because of the reasons u listed and also when in full auto the 3rd bullet sometimes comes out in hyperbust as well.

But what you apparently don’t know is that the SVA and MTZ do more damage in burst fire compared to full auto. This will probably get nerfed in the future but that’s the reason why both these guns are so good in semi auto right now. If you burst in full auto mode, u have a worse ttk

The entire lifecycle of Warzone two I use the SL 14 on single fire, or the tack V on single fire there they were always the best gun in that game. No matter ever beat them. People just couldn’t use them because they don’t like single tap firearms but as soon as I turned on the new one, I tried every single possible single fire build, and the MTZ 762 kills faster than anything I have ever seen in Warzone, I can’t believe no one’s covering that gun

I love burst weapons. The shroud was so much fun. The sva in single fire feels great. What would you recommend as a sniper support build? I think it could be faster, but up close, i lose more battles than with the ram. Also, is the shroud still viable? You called it out as a sleeper at the end of wz2 and i totally agree. Does it still compete with the meta?

Imo it is the best sniper support, has excellent ttk, great mobility, good ads time, if you can control its recoil you can completely melt enemies.

I took this for a test drive and it's a bit of a pea shooter at long range. It can suppress snipers but I'm way more likely to get a down with a TAQ Eradicator with iron sights and a couple of recoil attachments - edit: it also ate through ammo at a very inconvenient rate
