All the sounds from MW19 and WZ1 were so good! They put a lot of thought into it and it’s one of the things I miss the most. Being able to tell exactly what guns people are using even from a good distance was super helpful and great really.

For real! The weapon balancing, or lack thereof, completely ruined the game for me. There have been many, many times where I've gone into a gun fight with an LMG and I've sprayed the dude in the chest/face only to lose to his "meta" SMG. It's really frustrating especially given the fact that they only do it so they can sell their bundles.

The lockdown+Cross plat made MW2019 SnD & WZ capable of having the funnest organic moments gaming has ever had and it happened over & over. It was so special. I had no clue how fleeting it was. I always kinda disagreed with this take, like yeah covid helped the game but it would of done great even if that didn't happen. verdansk mw warzone was just a good game and they just kept making it worse after every expansion and sequels. My biggist complain since the end of warzone 1 is all the visual recoil. Why is it a good idea to have the weapon shake like crazy, with all the muzzle flash and muzzle smoke. Thats just less fun.

Only thing that can save warzone is if the devs cared. A weekly JAK kit thats useless does not keep the game fresh or feel rewarding. I've always believed that consistent and good weapon balancing would solve that. Also the battle pass is extremely short for players who play dailyish.

I would be willing to bet money that if this most current version of warzone was the original one that dropped, it would’ve been just as fun and successful. It was about the player base at the time vs now more so than just the game. Battle royales live and die by the player count unfortunately. The more random/casual players the more fun it is. Even if they brought back OG warzone right now it would get stale quick due to the fact that it would be mostly the sweats leftover playing it. Radical heights was a good example, that game was on paper TERRIBLE and unfinished but it was one of the most fun games for a while because it was a casual random Player base

Agreed, we’re never gonna have the best version of warzone back. We lived in a different world. The nostalgia will be there, it’ll still be enjoyable in comparison to what we’ve had to endure the past couple of years, but it just won’t be the same. The most they can do is get as close to it as possible. Omnimovement, meh, we’ll see but I can just see people finding a way to abuse it to gain an advantage. I know JGOD and a lot of people hate Ashika but Ive always really enjoyed playing it. you have enough spots where you do a hot drop or do a cold drop and get your loadout within a minute or two , and move up the mountain to the Castle or move around the edges of the map , and you can hold people where you want them and wipe them , based on elevation, sight lines, i.e. power positioning ,just my take.

Loadouts plates, no helmets, buy backs, gulag are apart of what made Warzone stand alone and outshine every other stereotypical battle royale. There needs to be more drastic weapon tuning on each major update, and more frequent changes to the gulag. Bring ranked to big map too. Also, lessen visual recoil on high zoom optics to give us more optic choices that are usable. Increease bullet velocity weapons too.

I put like 50 days played into warzone 1. Tapered to resurgence during caldera and full stop in Al mazrah. The game isn’t even close anymore. Switched to apex fully now. I honestly don't get it. Just re-release og verdansk /warzone. Add the things that were loved (more zips on buildings, moving zips, bunker buster, etc) with the bo6 weapons. And then go from there. Don't get me wrong, WZ1 was amazing, but a lot of people are praising how good it was, forgetting that it deffo had its problems. Nostalgia is making it look better than it was maybe. For instance: - Insanely fast TTKs were very common, like with the OTS having a sub 200ms ttk, which is nuts - Precisions hitting you through buildings was common (Rebirth Island - You couldnt stand on stairs, like in prison, without being hit) - Very dark environment (and Roze skin) - which they kinda addressed in WZ3 - Kali sticks...

​@@JGODmovement is already WAY too strong. It makes it impossible to win close range gunfights against sweat lords. There needs to be balances with either aim assist or other features to allow lower skill players to have a chance. Right now it isn't even possible to win gunfights a lot of the time.

I really wish they would at least allow us to play WZ1 Caldera/Verdansk/Rebirth. That engine was THE best. I still play and thoroughly enjoy Modern Warfare 2019 TDM because thats all I can get still. :/ *sigh*

Shotzzy said the slide has a delay like in MW2 and that you can't cancel it... Just, keep the smooth slide cancel we got now, and NO delays. That's all I'm asking for! We finally have the perfect slide cancel in MW3 (smooth movement, without an abuse factor)

That may be true, but everyone said MP felt great, so Idk. Slide canceling isnt necessary in Treyarch Cods. An usually its designed completely different.

@@JGOD it might not be necessary, but it's fun! Just slide canceling and cruising around the map, instead of just holding down a joystick and walking forward. It's honestly the main reason I play Cod over any other fps game. "Fun movement"

Still early so I think people will figure things out that work for them instead of trying to do something that was accidentally in a game from 5 years ago.

And yes, the slide cancel might have been an accident at first, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Penicillin, smoke detectors, the microwave! These were also accidents at first. Sometimes accidents create good things!

The only way any game will ever recapture that feeling we had in warzone original is if someone comes up with a game that transcends just gamers. I’m talking like PUBG when it first came out. It was so unique and interesting that non-gamers were flocking to it and this mix of people is what made it so fun. Unless someone is able to do that again they are all going to keep feeling stale like warzone currently because it’s only serious try hards playing and that’s not fun for anyone but that type of gamer.
