Apparently as you first download the game, the game “streams” the assets from servers which is different from downloading assets locally and then using it as it happens in typical games . [ this does put a lot of strain on the system which causes low performance and heating even on flagships & it makes it feel like you’re watching a low quality video ]. Now this improves with time as the game downloads and stores the assets locally the more you play . Now idk why they thought it would be better to do everything at once rather than just letting the system complete one thing at a time. This also complicates the graphics settings like for some devices only low graphics are available while on other devices only mid and high are available. Apparently on some devices like iPhone 13 you can use mid and high graphic presets but low graphics is locked [ like how and why ] . Looks like they wanted to be pioneers in something but they left behind common sense 🎉

For me, the problem is that the screen for customizing the button layout is so cluttered. It is possible to set automatically performed actions, but this does not change the number of buttons and their appearance. Now at least I know that when I go back to codm, I have the button layout I want. I've been playing this for two days now, with big breaks, because I'll play one match and I won't play in the wzm for the rest of the day. I respect people who want to play it, but I won't play it until something changes about it. This is my opinion about this game and if someone disagrees with me, I understand because everyone has their own opinion and I respect them.

I have faced mostly 2 issues in my 3 matches. 1. Ping Issues(I'm just teleporting up and down a building sometimes) 2. The gun doesn't even load in the hud. It shows in the hand but in the hud it shows hand and pistol for a while

My device is fairly low end so i expected it to have lagging problems and such. I dont mind the graphics myself as long as it would have been well optimised, but it isn't. When my potato phone used to run Apex with the smallest of issues and Genshin which is a 20+gb game at this point, really makes me wonder what caused this poor optimisation for WZM. I will still wait for a few updates to see how things pan out but as it is yeah, feel bad for even higher end devices having issues, shame.

I honestly just think it’s a testament of how hard it actually is to make a game meant for pc and console playable on a phone. The tech just isn’t there yet. If you have the highest trim level iPad then you’re pretty lucky, because you’ll get an amazing experience. Anything lower and it becomes annoying once in a while. If you have android it’s nearly unplayable. In 5 years or so I’d say just about everyone would have a great experience. Hopefully they don’t shutdown considering I’ve had a blast playing these last few days

As much as I hate buggy launches, it is important to note that it requires great effort to port a pc/console engine to mobile efficiently. CODM was built on Unity, which already had native mobile support. The PC COD engine had not been ported to mobile, and doing so within the span of only a couple years would lead to optimisation issues/bugs as shown here.

I honestly thought it was just me. I have a iphone 13, granted its an iphone not a android gaming phone & furthermore its not the new iphone -5, i know. But the game from what i know has support for iphone 8+ aswell which is kind of a mindfuck for me. My og graphics settings on game were high & i wanted to change them. (Not to peak), i wanted to lower the graphics because i would feel my phone heating up badly even on mid graphics so i wanted to go on low, but the option is blocked. What sucks even more is i can play regular cod mobile for hours & it wont heat up my phone at all, i honestly dont understand why a game that they had us wait for 2 yrs runs so poorly. I could care less about graphics, i just wanna be able to play the game. I run cod mobile on my ohone max graphics & max framerate no problem, so why is this game that clearly after ive changed graphical settings from high to mid still looks the same graphicaly & doesnt try to lower, or optimize graphics fro better playability atleast? Another thing i dont get is why they took apex of the appstore..? I used to own it on my old iphone 8 plus & it would work fine on mid graphics with no overheat or battery drainage. It would drain my battery on high but never overheat. Anyways it sucks that ive waited this long for a game i genuinly thought would be fun and work atleast fine. But it idk, it just sucks…

I think they are trying to immitate the WARZONE so much that they forgot the key word on making the game, which is "Mobile"... I mean it is what we wanted, a warzone in mobile. But it feels like they didnt make it compatible to most mobile devices that it can't run smoothly as we wanted. bro my phone runs codm in mid graphics with 60 fps without any lag. And warzone mobiles optimization is so shit it's barely playable (10-15 fps) on my phone. The graphics are so blurry like literally can't see enemies after a certain range, all pixels. In gunfight the fps drops to 2-5fps. Like how tf am I supposed to play this. Even worse in multiplayer. I played in beta around November. And it's the same as then. Literally no improvement. How tf they optimized the game for low end devices?

I know that warzone is not supposed to another codm but tbh I have played codm more than enough to point out some stuff Graphics is definitely something i have a rather mid range phone ( Samsung galaxy F23 ) and it only supports low graphics and in that setting its definitely unplayable cause well u cant really see the enemies on a small screen with pixlated graphics ( especially at longer ranges ) Secondly the sensitivity feels ... Off? It just dosent feel right its not the same sensitivity im used to ( its almost same as my codm sensitivity) Since i have played codm for sometime im used to overwhelming amount of settings but if u look at the view point of a new player it can be rather overwhelming ( its not really a demerit but rather something i want to point out cause half of the things are not explained of their function) The first two are the only two i found that makes the game unplayable but that aside the game is insane i still cant believe they managed to bring warzone into mobile also we gotta give Activision sometime the game just released maybe in about a 5-8 months it should be wayy better than its now

Honestly the best thing they can do right now is give emulator support. A lot of people who resort to playing Warzone mobile is probably because they can't afford to play it on a console or pc. Gameloop might allow it to be more playable on low end pcs and mid range notebooks, the ones with Iris Xe graphics or AMD integrated graphics at least.

Neither can I. I mean they either do this or switch the engine like Codm did, but the Unreal Engine was not this bad. It's ironic how most mobile gamers played games PUBG or Codm since they probably couldn't get a proper pc to run it, having to buy a $2000 which still can't run the game properly is utter BS. It'd be cheaper to buy a $1000 gaming rig at that point, heck even a rig that's 500 bucks could run it decently, and I mean decently and not with the icings on the cake. Unfortunately they don't allow you to write a review that long explaining the issues of the game. Heck, it's been 2 years at this point and they still haven't done anything to optimize the game. They had ample time to do so, and they shipped it out unfinished. I am quite sure this game is gonna die pretty soon like Battlefield and Apex Legends. My PC runs it okay, but since it's Warzone 2.0 it does come with optimization issues and frame drops cuz of the crap IW9 engine. I remember how perfectly smooth Warzone 1 ran. The suggestion for emulation is just so that people can run it only cheap notebook or ultrabook laptops with at least decent integrated graphics. I know that they used to be able to run Warzone 1 but not Warzone 2. Also cheap portability is the selling point. Most people want to play it on something they already have and not buy something extra.

This game isn’t failing, it’s off on a rocky start but it’s here to stay for sure and will eventually catch up and surpass warzone’s pc and console counter part. I wish they kept more from cod mobile such as the controls being more mobile friendly and less things being on one section of the screen at once. But Triple A Mobile games are here now and they’re here to stay, they will definitely be the future of gaming, Warzone mobile is following the formula of cod mobile, they supported alot of devices at first and then selected a few devices to support. They also release graphics and optimization updates to the apple flag ship devices, then to other non apple high end devices and then the rest of the devices.

I have iPad 9th gen, I faced the following issues 1) heating (to some extent) not that noticeable 2) battery draining (1hr of life from 95) 3) random crashing of game once in a while 4) very poor graphics, I had it in “high” but it feels like gta San Andreas graphics tbh 5) too sweaty lobby and fast paced game 6) shots don’t register well sometimes, thought I have 1gbps Wi-Fi network So yeah this game does make me feel my iPad as lowend 😢although it’s not

The experience shown in this video (graphics , sound , smoothness etc) is far greater than what people I know experienced. I for one haven't been able to play a single proper match apart from the trainning missions because of super lag , very long wait times to get into a match (5 minutes one time 😅) , bad graphics , phone hit 46 degrees Celsius while playing and my file size is already 9 GB and it's supposed to go up as updates for maps, gun skins , character skins etc get added.
