They shouldn’t have to hire external beta testers. Proper QA and thorough UAT should catch major bugs - All of this should be done internally, like any other software release.

Over 50% of my friends have the menu and loadout glitches. There is no way this made it through QC without being encountered. I don't understand how updates still get pushed out like this. There is no accountability and no one at Activision seems to care. We have seen few apologies and no meaningful improvements in release quality.

the biggest thing to me is it is very clear that Warzones pipeline has very very bad regression controls in place, think how many times bugs come back in later updates, it's causing more work and need to be addressed.

The devs must be utterly embarrassed with this update. They should have just waited until season 2 and LIVE tested everything properly. If season 2 is a buggy disaster as well, someone at the top needs to go. Totally unacceptable.

After the update, the UI was just flickering in the menu. I restarted the game 2 times, and could not get past. Ended playing one match in multiplayer instead and quit the game after that - instead of shipment they had added a new map that was just boring.

They act like the have to wait for a huge balance patch to change things when they have proven that they can change guns at literally any time.

Oh man I'm a QA Engineer (not in gaming) and this has got to suck for the workers. No doubt they didn't get enough time to prepare for the update. Lots of these issues are so obvious I'm sure they flagged them but it was probably rushed out the door by management.

Suck for the developers yes, but they've been complaining that their QA team hasn't been working well enough and higher ups have told them they now have to come in studio to work instead of work from, home because work flow is of poor standards. In this case I have to agree with them For such glaringly obvious errors that could have been seen in a single playthrough by QA teams, there's no way they did their job to test and report properly because there's no way the higher ups would release it in that state. They've delayed updates before and would have delayed again otherwise. Either somebody added something in last second without it going through QA, or QA did a bad job and tested individual things to tick off instead of final release (Which by the sounds of the complaints about the QA team leading up to this is probably the case) Prior to this the QA team had been given a like it or lump it offer to come into studio, or find something else and they were on the verge of striking again. Last time an update was this bad was when the QA team were actually striking because of restructuring and layoffs. I don't think it's a coincidence

Man I ran into all of those issues, the infinite fetching profile loop, finally got into my friends lobby couldn’t edit load outs out it will go back to the loop and in game when I try and select my load out I froze into a loop and frames dropped to basically a stand still, thought it was only me glad it’s been fixed I was ready to just delete the game

I'm not sure if this has been a problem for others but when picking up scav contracts when playing with a friend, a lot of the time the boxes would be stuck in the ground or inaccessible in blacksites

TYR got nerfed hard. It’s been my main in MWZ since the rifle barrel mod was re-added. It used to be a 1-2 shot for T3 normal enemies and 2-3 shot for T3 special enemies. Now it’s 3-4 for normal enemies and 7+ for special enemies.

Something youve missed here Westie is that the mist broken update releases have always come around the time that they mess around with their QA dept. This time round they gave a like it or lump it offer to their QA team, (which a vast majority were offered a work from home position) which was move to work in studio, or leave. Last time an update was released this badly was wheb their QA team went on strike due to pay cuts and layoffs. The higher uos would onky release an uodate like this if they weren't told how bad it is and if the QA team did its job properly testing and reporting it. There's not a chance these very obvious things didnt present themselves in various playthroughs by QA. With the state this was in, i actually agree that their QA team needs sorting out. It's embarrassing

I think you're giving them too much credit that the failures in gun balancing is a matter of incompetence, versus malice. They want new metas to be incredibly OP. If the gun is way OP and dominated immediately, people are more likely to go into the store and buy the blueprint bundle so they can use it immediately versus having to grind to unlock it/rank it. Then once they've sold a ton of those blueprints and let people go crazy with it for 6-8 weeks, nerve it, make something else way OP, and repeat. It's all about making money, they don't care about the community and what it wants. Have they not proved this time and time and time again?

Yes, and on top of things... i was one challenge from unlocking the event camo.. and i got kicked + shadowbanned. Im not really a good player yet but i f.ed up a couple of squads with the new LMG they added in plunder. Where i usually do my challenges. SO how long does it take for this to be lifted? I understand that "good" players that gets killed by in there eyes a "bad" player will call hacks and mass report you... And is it even possible to get in to a game? its stuck on 200 ping..

The loadout glitch is fixed by changing your perks on all custom loadouts you make - change it to a default one and change it back. It doesn't give you the perks you choose when you get your loadout though, but it stops the game glitching on the loadout. But yeah, annoying issues. LOVE THE CONTENT WESTIE!

I really regret that I bought new MW3. Worst game ever. Extremely glitchy, nothing work properly and only became worst, not better. It's not worth $100 and time. I tried Zombies, but Zahayev stronghold does not appear on map when mission choosen. Can accomplish that. No DMZ. Story was so short like it game preview, now whole game.

They fixed the menu loop and my team mates can now get their Loadouts (I could get mine though?) but went on last night and certain guns + scope combinations makes the gun lag/stutter when you ADS? Anyone had that? Oh and the Perks lol! Mental… The lag is about the same for me.

Other positives of the update also were they fixed audio issues and improved that way now everyone is able to hear players walking and running around and also a big one they fixed was Skill Based Matchmaking so now everyone is getting into the right lobbies and not lobbies with just full on sweats in the game.

Changing the Exfil an LTM is absolutely the right choice if it means they keep all the core BR modes all the time. Everything else was a nightmare.

This isn’t a core BR, if you want an actual BR Apex, PUBG, even Fortnite is more of a BR. This is just a last team standing gamemode at this point. Loadout drops take away all the looting you need to do to find better weapons and get people moving around the map to get better gear. That’s the reason there are so many rats in WZ compared to Fortnite or Apex. They should’ve added the covert exfil because it adds to the gameplay of the mode itself. It wouldn’t count as a win and I don’t see why it’d be such a big deal if it was considered one anyways. Anyone worried about their stats in COD nowadays is just sad. SBMM makes it so you can’t prove you’re better than others because you’re constantly going against people with the same skill. Let them add the feature before you write it off completely, it’s not like it’d be in ranked or anything.

The one thing I'm most happy with so far is the increased performance I get out of my PC. Currently running a 3070ti and Ryzen 5600X, textures on High, all else on medium. My FPS hovers around 180 to 210 at 1440p. Just leaps and bounds better than warzone 2. That shit was terrible.

Nowadays they don’t release finished products. They basically release everything in Beta and expect the public to be the testers regardless if they want to or not. I pretty much expect nothing less then devs butchering every future new update or release. They release updates that fixes bugs but they add new shit that creates more bugs. They are chasing their own tail. They need to release an update with no new content just massive bug fixes. Fix the foundation. You cant build a house on a broken foundation otherwise the whole thing crumbles

I couldn't play all day the other day. I had reWASD installed. I used the free trial and never tried it again because I knew they would ban it someday. I reinstalled the game 3 times before searching all day for a solution to get the game running after I entered the main menu.
