It's such a solid gun. The mobility is a bit slow, but otherwise it's great. People get turned off by the recoil pattern which kicks to the left instead of the right. But it actually has some of the least recoil in the game.

I love the kilo and it honestly reminds me of the MW2/3 acr but it just isn’t powerful enough to warrant using it over other laser beams. If other weapons weren’t as similar in handling to the kilo I feel like you’d see the kilo more(probably paired with an mp5)

What we learned: most guns are great with the right attachments, and enough skill. Unfortunately people are too scared to go off meta

The problem is, when a gun's been meta for a while and most players have it leveled up (*cough*Grau*cough*), swapping to an off-meta gun is a huge disadvantage: not only is the gun itself not meta, you're probably running it stock or with only a few attachments, which makes it doubly hard to get the kills you need to grind it out. I had this issue with the FAL and the AK, neither of which are bad but both of which struggle against the tryhard Grau/MP5 combo without high-level attachments. It also doesn't help that the unlock order for some guns increases the grind to make it competitive -- for example, the FAL in my experience needs to be used at a longer range than your average AR, otherwise you just get out-DPSed if you miss a few shots, but in order to do that you need to grind through three almost-identical reflex sights to get the 3.25x Scout Optic. Sometimes it's not that people are scared to go off-meta, it's that they know that until the meta weapon gets some kind of nerf, they're going to be struggling to get their off-meta gun leveled up to a competitive build.

Zombificus my way around that issue is using off-meta weapons, but ones that still have decent potential, for example the Bruen MK9. Not that you can’t use some of the worse weapons, they just might not be enjoyable

I have been using the SA87 lmg, so the attachments I have for gun is so mad, its a powerful gun and it knocks em quick. However, the ads speed is not to quick and not slow just in between. It does have a little bit of a kick back but its easy to control once u have gotten use to it.

The monolithic is much better on the Kilo. The tac actually drops ur bullet velocity so less range. U can also pop the 100 rounds drum mag and turn it into an lmg

If running with an SMG: Mono Prowler Commando 60rd mag VLK Optic If running with a sniper, and you want something just a little bit snappier and still amazing mid range properties: Tac Suppressor SOCOM barrel Commando 60rd mag Optic of your choice (I prefer GI mini) And if you don’t mind the iron sights, run the first build, but swap the optic for a tac laser or stippy grip. Super snappy!

Honestly the M4, Kilo, M13, Grau. They are all very similar weapons in terms of damage profile, recoil and other weapon characteristics like ADS time. Personally I feel like I would perform very similarly regardless of which one of these I'd pick up and stick to.

I love the kilo and it was the second weapon I got gold but I have to admit that even though it statistically has the least recoil out of all the ars, it doesn’t have a fast enough ttk to warrant using it over other laser beams like the m13 and the grau. It especially doesn’t pair well with snipers because you get outgunned up close.

I love the FAL. How it performs. How it looks. The fact it's semi auto. Pretty much everything about it. The FAL and AK are my go to weapons. I have been getting away from the M4, it's getting boring and the sound it makes with the suppressor isn't attractive at all.

guys, one thing... his Kilo loadout is good but I would change the barrel... the 19" Prowler is really unnecessary... 16" Socom gives you 30% range for a max of 76m (in comparison, M4 and Ram 7 have a max range of barely 60m), bullet velocity AND recoil control for a penalty of only 1 frame at 60FPS in ADS speed while Prowler has a 2-3 frame penalty in ADS speed AND movement speed penalty for only 10% more range (max 85m) which makes it unnecessary in my opinion... the kilo has little recoil anyway and the Socom barrel does the job perfectly to make it laser accurate anyway... that tiny bit more accuracy from Prowler is just overkill for the sake of 9m of max range that will significantly help you very rarely and when you get into close-mid range gunfights it will hurt you much more often... One thing most people don't understand about this... it will significantly help you beat M4 and Ram 7 and CR 56 at CLOSE RANGE which is where the Kilo suffers from it's poor ADS speed... cause we all mod our ARs for accuracy... so a build with great accuracy and only 2-3 frames penalty in ADS speed will greatly beat those builds for M4 and Ram 7 that have 5-6 frames of penalty in ADS speed cause you'll get your gun up faster in closer range... SMG's are another story... if you challenge an SMG user with the Kilo you better be pre-aiming otherwise you're dead meat just like any other AR at close range... All that being said... the Kilo is a monster cause it's the ONLY AR that can pair up equally well with a sniper and an SMG... it's so versatile that for me it makes every other AR unnecessary (although I use almost all the guns cause otherwise I'm bored)... try this out and you'll understand what I'm talking about...

You could change a mid range into a very agile smg, or put a heavy barrel and a scope and it becomes a sniper! They really pulled an awesome one with this feature. Btw im only playing multiplayer, i was never into battleroyale

You are running the Kilo about how I'd run it. I'd be using the Monolithic Suppressor instead but you probably haven't unlocked it. I'd replace that long barrel with Stippled Grip Tape myself but that's just me I suppose. I prefer the 50 round to the 60 or 100, as reload times are faster and still gives you the edge with extra ammo, I'd run Sleight of Hand with the other two though. Honestly, the Kilo was one of those AR's I expected to be just plain average in the game and found it's quite versatile and really slaps people hard if they aren't expecting it. So far my worst AR experience was the M13... absolutely hated it. At close range SMG's out damage it, at long range it doesn't do a lot of damage so other AR's beat it easily. I really failed to see the appeal especially when compared to the Kilo, the M4, and GRAU. For another weapon, I'd suggest the Oden. The Oden can be set up like a DMR which is nice but I find one of the best builds is going for max mobility. So shortest barrel, stippled grip tape, Tactical foregrip, 25 round magazine, and Tac Elite Comb. This gives super high ADS time which is the Oden's primary weakness, great mobility and sprint to fire times, but it still has incredible accuracy and damage due to the how powerful the Oden is. It's ROF makes it a little less than idea for CQB at times, but being how accurate one can be with it... it can stomp. At mid to long range though, the Oden is wonderful as it's easy to keep on target regardless of build, it packs a serious punch, but again ADS times is it's biggest weakness. It's still a good gun though and often overlooked.
