@garry That's what happens when you follow pappu like a piddi. Biskut khao mast ho jao. 1947 and subsequent population exchange gave the migrants status as Indians. Oci was introduced in 90s / 2000s. And if the rules say that naPakis won't be issued so be it. If you have issues about rules then approach courts. So don't do such comparisons which showcase pappu mindset. As sanatanis we feel sorry for pappu and piddis. Special sympathies for piddis.

Just like she expects politicians to understand her role as journalists, likewise, she shouldn't expect her to be liked by them and rant and feel bad about it. She is not bound by them and vice versa. Move on. But these Lutyen's journalists expect that old respect from politicians, but Modi chucked them out. Adorable interview! Both Barkha Dutt and Tavleen Singh are good forthright journalists. Media is financed privately almost everywhere in the world. Many times I felt that being the fourth pillar of democracy, certain percentage of budget should be reserved for media, mostly in kinds, rather than in monetary terms so that media remains as strong and robust pillar of democracy. So that a media person should not feel being dropped even if the PM ignores that media person. The media guys should seek approval from public, not the executive.
