I actually thought that question--and most of the questions--were good. Different than others he'd been asked in other interviews, and it's meant to be different and light-hearted, instead of asking run-of-the-mill questions that the formal press junket journalists had asked a month earlier for the premier. As a person who is on set a lot in Los Angeles and all the fittings we go through...it's a legit wardrobe question, and was designed to be amusing. He prefaced the chest hair question by saying "my office is women and gay dudes," and noted that the *women* first noted the chest hair. It almost would have been weirder if a traditional journalist had asked him that. The "mom" question was a misstep, and he interrupted AB's answers a handful of times, but he clearly liked the movie and put some thought into making the interview different than most. He gets credit for that.

I like interviews where the interviewer really likes the actor and the film. The questions are different. I noticed Austin didn't mention his mom but did mention his grandparents. Interviewer is just quirky, he always is. Lighten up. This is cute Austin has a duck tail.
