As a basketball player I was nowhere near the level of Devin Hester was a football recruit. But I had a high school coach do me the same way, I transferred schools & he created some fake transcripts sent them to the school and got me suspended & the school had to forfeit the 10 games I played for them. I was public enemy #1 at that school for the rest of the year. Ended up fighting everyday, got to the point I couldn't prove he doctored them, so I had to take summer school just to graduate w my class. Was an eye opening experience. The coach ended up apologizing years later but at that point it was a waste of time.

From a random Eags fan: Congrats to Devin on a stellar career, and a big fuck you to that coach who threatened & tried to sandbag him. 100 bucks says that he was only harassing Devin as much as he was because he'd already lied to his own bosses and told them he'd already had gotten a commitment from him. Hopefully, karma did its thing and that coach's career/reputation ended up in the same gutter where he tried to put Hester's. The fact that Hester STILL won't name the guy publicly alone shows me that he has more class and integrity than that petty, vengeful coach who didn't even have the decency or the balls to tell Hester to his face that he was the one who fabricated the allegations out of sheer spite which cost him a year of CFB.
