My two issues with the Kickstarter were: 1. There were no spooky options, really. Bloodstone was closest, but I was looking for something to go with the twisted Wyrmwood stuff, and nothing really spoke to me. Would have loved some bloody, red, black, something that matches the coffin vaults. 2. There wasn't an option to buy 3 G6s, only 3 D6s. I would have loved to build an 11-piece gyroid set (set of 7 gyroids, 3 G6, 1 extra G/D20), but it wasn't possible. I still supported and bought a set, but I would have bought more. I hope you guys do a Diceapalooza 2.0 and expand the options a little. (Also, a thief magnetic dice tower would be awesome!)

I don't mind it because I think it demonstrates that if they can do Mario, they can do whatever a client asks for. I Would not of even thought they could make a good looking Mario pipe out of wood, but they more then succeeded. In the end I think it will demonstrate their talent and ingenuity and will be a good convention piece. "Hey did you see the Mario table made out of wood, you have to go check it out"

They have very clearly stated that it exists as an example of what they can do with custom orders. Legally they probably CANNOT make it a regular offering, & the labor cost prohibits that anyway. As an example of what they can do with custom orders, it's arguably a STRONG contender because it's an unusual pairing with the furniture aesthetic, & the level of craftsmanship they need to create stuff like the veneer pipes.

International shipping and duty/tax handling is clamping down my order massively. So for my order of 474 USD, UPS charges (according to my cart) 62 USD for shippin. Thats fine. With 19 % VAT (for most of my previous orders) here in germany that amounts to around 102 USD for duties and tax. But I am being told to to pay 260 USD. So there's around 160 USD that somehow gets suckled up by UPS? As what do you declare my hobby supplies? Blood diamonds from a war zone? Or does UPS take another 160 USD for paying the 100 USD on tax? One service in this price range from UPS is "Worldwide Express Freight Services" for shipping a whole pallet. Thats not necessary for my order. I hope this gets broken out more in the bill to dispute this in the end or after delivery.

Depending on what it's declared, you will also have customs duties (Zoll) on the order as well - I know off the top of my head that e.g. there is 20% extra customs charge on most textiles that are imported from the US. I can't recall if the customs or VAT are added on top of each other, been a while since I last ordered from the US.

But those were removed some time in 2021. So apart from roundabout 12.50 for UPS to pay the import tax, i can't fathom how they got the additional $160

So, late order-entry here (this video may or may not have reminded me to check my email to complete my pledge LOL). At Bobby: I like howlite because of the cool pattern, made more distinct as it is white & black toned. Some insight on what I bought on why: * I didn't buy any material I already have from past KStarters, which cut out opalite, howlite, amephyst, blue turquoise even though they all look rad. * I got all gyroid stuff, because I have no gyroids. I actually got a LOT of single g4s... because alternative 4-sided dice is something I actually do need more of in my collection (as opposed to yet more d6s & d20s) * I avoided the ombre sets, I'm sorry but they're just not practical IMHO to mix in a bag with other sets. I was also unsure how a single g4 from an ombre set was going to look exactly * I bought something in rainbow jasper after watching this video just to bump the numbers LOL. * resin dice - I bought a lot of single blue g4s... IMHO your overall selections for blue & green were MUCH stronger than your red-toned selections. Too much pink in the non-ombre red

My issue is that I play edge of the empire primarily, so I don't have any use for Numbered dice most of the time. So I generally found the colours really cool, but I would just never be able to roll them. Though it's worth mentioning it's a pretty niche game that is likely dying due to corporate BS, so my circumstances are likely different to most people who play more mainstream systems. Combined with just being an extremely rough financial few months (seriously, I have spent thousands on room improvements.) I just didn't have the spare capital to invest in anything that wasn't strictly necessary. Again, my circumstances are very particular. I didn't have a problem with the campaign and I likely would've been the type of whale to bulk order a ton of these, but those two circumstances for me is why I didn't invest. A+ Campaign though. I had watched most of the episodes and I really hope it worked out for you guys. I've always been a huge fan and the dice trays i had ordered in the past see regular use at my gaming table and have satisfied me immensely. I just wished I could invest more. *Edit* After hearing Ember Forge dice I did check, sadly they are sold out. I would've brought them in that moment... Just magical sounding. I would love my crit dice to be these.

Big missed opportunity by not offering gyroid d6s. A lot of the resin die missed the mark for me, I love contrast between the numbers and the dice itself so I can read them without having to pick up each die and hold it up to the light. Which is why I only really liked the fantasia theme. I also picked up orange tibetan agate since it fits my latest characters theme (kobold divination wizard) but was disappointed in the other gemstone offerings since they were basically the same as your standard offerings.

I can't believe that many people would order sea glass. Those dice are completely unreadable at a glance, aka I would never actually use them in a game, because glance value is everything when actually playing a tabletop game. I would never buy a set of dice I couldn't easily read at a distance. Not to mention the colors being completely ugly on top of it. Also, I didn't order a gyroid set because I am happy with the shape of every die except the d4. So I just ordered a normal set and an additional g4. Would have ordered more sets if you offered a normal set but with the d4 swapped for a g4 as an option. I ordered the orange agate, but I was interested in the black agate and the howlite as well. It's crazy most of the people in the shop didn't see why howlite would be popular, black, white and gold marble as a colorway is one of the most classically good looking combos you can do. It's genuinely a no brainer choice, and would be excellent for any traditional cleric or paladin. None of the resin sets clicked for me, as they are all less interesting than your previous collabs with Dispel, which I bought several sets from.

I got orange agate, it was a closet tie to the black agate, but I was worried there wasn't going to be enough Chatoyancy to make the black agate cool, if I had infinite money I'd definitely would have gotten more since though

By far, this campaign was amazing but I had the worst time choosing. Literally took me over an hour to fulfill my order and stay within my budget. So many good choices and the combos! Went with Prismatic Gyroids, Mini Sea Glass, and Normal Fire Glass. Figured that was a good mixture of everything. I really want Diceapalooza Too to be a thing cause I can't afford a table right now.

Yes, Jason should get a gyroid tattoo. He went through a lot of work and math to figure them out and align them perfectly and then they did spectacularly! My surprise about the seaglass being near the top wasn't because it looked bad but because it has got to be hard to read those dice. Honestly, I found most of the resin dice (from the photos) were going to be hard to read. The way I see it, if I roll the dice on the table, I should be able to read it from where I'm sitting, without having to put it near my face and in the right lighting.

I feel like Prom Queen numbers were down because it lost out to it's closest competitor, Oops All Pink. It's been a nightmare trying to finalise my order, too many pretty sets to choose from. The easiest choice was going for Gyroid though!

Prom Queen was my top pick, but then I saw the photo of the gyroid set which is what I was going to get. The gyroid set was no where near as pretty as the regular set. It felt like it had less pink and the gold flake + gold numbers (at least in the photo) looked like it was going to be really hard to read. I ended up getting a regular d20 & 3d6 set in Prom Queen, but did Oops All Pink for my gyroids.

Gyroid Supremacyyyyy But yea, I bet there's quite a bit of thought going in to some orders, that try to match up dice sets with a particular character or class. So even when the dice set is spectacular in isolation, it might not be as popular due to players not finding a niche to slot them in to.

Keep in mind that these numbers don't include accessories like rolling trays, dice vaults, etc.... Those things likely also contributed a substantial amount of revenue and didn't cost them additional development time/money.

I was really excited for this kickstarter, after having backed the very first dice 1.0, but all that excitement died when I saw the shipping cost to Canada. No matter how much I had planned to drop on the dice, that shipping cost made it not worth it. If they do another, hopefully they can find a way to make that more reasonable. (and dont use UPS! they have class actions against them up here for essentially ransoming people's packages)

I would have chosen Sea Glass if it had kept the rainbow spread it had early in the process. Real sea glass can be red/orange/yellow in addition to blue/green. Went with Prismatic Glass instead.

It's classic voting distribution, right? If you have 20 colorways of "shiny resin" (which everyone in this market already has) and 1 option for seaglass, which is relatively unique in the industry as a whole, you consolidate support for the seaglass. If they had offered "seaglass dice" in 15 colorways, any single one would not have performed as well.
