we stan her, because especially since dylan was so young and someone said that to him in front of everyone and she went off means she really cared and protected those 2

You can still see the pain she probably felt on that day in her eyes, she’s literally hold back tears Now imagine trying to embarrass a child and thinking you ate, of course people are going to stand up for them You made everyone feel uncomfortable and the child insecure I loved that they weren’t the same body bc growing up I was bigger too and it made me feel okay with myself I don’t even want to imagine what the girls went through on those sets

Raven Symone went through the same thing as Dylan during that time too. Disney execs kept pressuring her to lose weight & almost fired her from doing a tour for them unless she lost weight.

Right after all these years that still has her to the break of tears. It's great to know she is actor that defended child actors. I heard that kids on set are treated like adults where they will talk to them any type of way as recent as the early 2000's and no one advocates for them. The sets are changing because of toxicity of the industry are being exposed, but it was rough for kids especially when the parents were restricted on set.

I always felt he was body shamed back then. It was the early 2000s. And that was an uncalled for popularity of bigotry. He was a child and probably felt that was how he was meant to be. But everybody still loved him. Why was he humiliated like that? Why should anyone-- children especially-- be humiliated like that? Kim was that mom you didn't wanna mess with on Disney set. It was clear that she and Dylan were more closer than she and Cole were. She's amazing. Love her for speaking out on this. And a shout out thanks to Christy for having her resurfaced on "Vulnerable". There are so many things wrong with the situation... the fact that 'junk' food is even present is mind-boggling to me - these are full-time CHILD workers for Disney - they should be getting a full balanced lunch (protein, carbs, fats, small dessert) and healthy snack options to keep them feeling their best, there's also the public body humiliation and lack of professionalism in general - a conversation like that should have happened behind closed doors with only the ones who regulate the food (and no children involved), and then there's the whole intention behind all of it- that is keeping the children looking a certain way- which is just sick. The intention should be to nourish them properly/ keep them feeling good, especially because they're growing kids... but obviously, they didn't care about that because they were willing to risk psychological damage via body shaming to a child. It's absolutely horrific!

This is ridiculous when hollywood is SPECIFICALLY about appearances...you can whine about body shaming all you like but i guarantee she had to fit in a specific mold to get the job. Children dont have to become actors after all and there are plenty of kids who endure far worse emotional abuse in order to play sports, musical instruments, etc. its a part of life for just about everybody. Get over it.

@@Dariusissocool What type of dumb logic is that? You don't get to tell old stories of other people's embarrassing moments just because you saw it happen. Does that mean I get to go on a podcast and tell everyone?
