I predict far less vitriol from the Starfield Defense Force, compared to the first video. They are just as bored with the game as the rest of us, and will lack the inclination to mindlessly attack this time.

Probably worth a (dis-) honorable mention, but the amount of bugs the game has, even by Bethesda's standards. One particularly nasty and game-breaking one is where your ship will randomly dissappear after customizing it. Hope you saved before making changes because it is gone. Funny that there was an article touting that this game had the fewest amount of bugs. Shocker, game journo site gets it wrong.

Procedural generation is messed up in a general sense, not just it's repeating layouts. The notion alone of the map randomly generating every random land site already makes each layout no matter detailed be possible to exist an infinite amount of time. Not even the site's repeating pattern parts matter anymore even if they randomized the houses, they'd exist somewhere else the moment you see it. On fps I'm still not sure today's games are so terrible in faces it's a wonder it runs this well. Bethesda doesn't use loading zones nor has it LOD so it's gotta have subscene optimisation meaning unique objects can be repeated indefinitely and only shadows add up to lag. Of course I'm not sure either though not gonna play it not dump an ingame frame to have a terabyte of Blender file.

Exploration is nonexistent. Going to a little square with a handful of places farted out by procedural generation is hardly exploration. What is the point exploration, if there's nothing there to explore? Also worth noting that anyone paying attention knows Bethesda stopped making RPGs after Skyrim. They make tedious looter shooters now.

Erm you called New Atlantis Atlantis City, cringe, entire video is wrong now. 🤓 To elaborate on how Skyrim lets you wear different faction uniforms: - During the main quest, in the Thalmor Embassy, if you equip hooded thalmor robes (you must acquire them before the mission as they place the wrong variant in the location), you will have a better chance at getting past the Thalmor = Altmer and Bosmer can just walk past the guards (but don't run as that breaks cover). = Humans and Dunmer can walk past the guards, but must keep distance to not break cover = Khajiit and Argonians get detected on sight, because of their tails You can even tell a thalmor guard to abandon his post if you are an Altmer with a speech check, while wearing the uniform - During the Civil War questline, you are given the task of intercepting the rival armies plans, and replacing them with fake plans as an act of sabotage, upon killing the courier, you can show up in any armour you wish, but this will raise suspicion, to which you have to give a lie that you ditched your armour as part of the mission, he does not get suspicious if you show up in his faction's armour - Captain Aldis, a member of the Imperial Legion will berate you for wearing Stormcloak armour, you can choose to apologise or claim to be a Stormcloak, and doing so incurs a 40 gold bounty and the captain and his soldiers will attack you. - Despite not acting as a disguise, during the Dark Brotherhood questline in which you impersonate the Gourmand, an acclaimed chef, if you show up in a chef's outfit, and then present your identifying papers, the guard will comment on your attire. These are nowhere near as dynamic as Fallout New Vegas, but they definitely show a degree of effort in putting recognition to what you are wearing into the game, something that goes back to Morrowind, in which Indoril armour, would get you attacked on sight in Vivec, as only the Ordinators may wear it, the capability is there, and has been since 2002, it's a shame that only New Vegas attempted anything major with it.

For those of you who know what Bethesda games are like... wait for Modders to come along and make the game better, though depending on how well the Modding community likes the game, there might not be many for a while. Then get the game and mod it to high heaven. Until then, don't bother.
