The true tragedy of all of this is that nobody learned anything. Duck died, Von died, Duck's killers lost their freedom, Momma Duck will never realize her faults, there's a good chance the mother's of the killers won't admit their faults as well. A bunch of children from all these men involved lost their fathers will most likely end up with childhoods just a broken as their fathers. Everyone loses and the cycle continues. Duck's and Von's deaths are honestly the logical conclusion to the Chicago drill scene. It ends just as bleak as it started. At least guys like Chief, Bibby, and Herbo got out of this but unfortunately they're rare outliers of this black hole of a situation.
