If you read John's entire gospel without pre conceived religious dogma influence you will be convinced that " These things have been written that you may believe that Jesus is THE SON OF GOD". ( John 20:31 ) This was John's aim! So many verses tesify to what he quoted Jesus himself saying that "The Father is greater than I am" ( 14:28). That "I can do nothing of my own initiative" ( 5:30) That "Iam ascending to my God & your God" That he asked "Father glorifiy me with the glory I had alongside you, before the world was" ( John 17:5) . Dont listen to theologians & philosophers! Listen to Jesus & John!

@@anthonya4408 Interestingly, Thomas was in an emotional depressed state when he said those words ! Jesus had asked them all previosly "who do you say I am?" their answers showed they were often confused! ( Matt 16 ) Peter though proclaimed "You are the Christ the SON of God"! and Jesus commended him!. Secondly, People sometimes as an exclamation of supprise say "My God!). Thirdly Jesus is a 'God' He is of 'divine nature' as the 'image' & 'reflection' of his Father's Glory ( heb 1:3) Yet an image & reflection is still not as substantial as the original is it? But my friend why not you 'mention' verse 17 also in chapter 20? Jesus told Mary "I am ascending to MY GOD and your God. full stop! Finally what clinches it for me are John's own reason for writing what he did "These things have been written that you may believe.....( waite for it!) That Jesus is the Christ the SON of God". ( John 20:31 ). All Glory then to GOD THE FATHER ( Phil 2:11)

@@kiwihans100 you also seem to ignore the rest of the Bible. Son of God is a title for God incarnate in the flesh. What about Psalm 45:6-7 which the book of Hebrews quotes, the Father (God) calls Jesus God? Pray to receive the Holy Spirit, because this truth is only revealed by the Holy Spirit that Jesus is God

@@kiwihans100 and if Thomas was speaking nonsense why did the Holy Spirit include it in the Gospel and why didn’t Jesus rebuke him? But it’s clear through the scriptures that Jesus is God. He is not “a God”, there is only one God and you are taking Hebrews 1:3 completely out of context since it’s literally saying that Jesus is the revelation of God and you ignore the rest of the chapter which clearly indicates Jesus is God. Hebrews 1:10 literally quotes a verse that is about YHWH (God) and says it’s about Jesus why? Because Jesus is YHWH. Friend please lose the pride and seek truth from the Holy Spirit, do not try to understand by your own wisdom the Bible, pray for revelation because without the Holy Spirit there’s too many incorrect ways to interpret the Bible.

@@anthonya4408 Well I can see your have a strong faith in the 'trinity'! I dont! However we both believe in God the father, we both believe Jesus is the son of God and we both believe that the Holy Spirit is poured out from the Father & through the Son. I am happy to embrace the faith then that Jude stated at Jude 3 "The faith that once and for all God has given to his people". I therefore reject and explanations & creeds and doctrine that came many years later! As for John 20:28. If you wish to base your faith on what Thomas said about Jesus, that is entirely up to you my friend. I prefer to believe what Jesus and John said that jesus is the SON of God, past, present and forever! ( John 20:17, 31.) Finally if you take verse 28 literally, to be consistant you need to take those two other verses literally also ie; that Jesus Father is His God and that he is God's Son. I refuse to accept the council of Nicea's conclusions which you I fear accept since He was a pagan Emporer and only baptised on his deathbed years later. He murdered two immediate members of his family, used Christ to go into battle and cannot be a Christian arbitor for what you & I believe! At that council ( where it was decided by a 'vote' influenced strongly by Constantine) about Jesus to elevate Christ to equality with god and thus call him 'God', only 25% of the bishops of the church attended and thereafter it was disputed for centuries! ( Bye the way to further show how unchristian the whole affair was, it was held not in a Christian church, but in a summer palace where they all wined and dined with the Emporer. It os on record that HE had the final word about Jesus status and that he even formed an edict that 'anyone not agreeing with or possessing any writings that contadicted the findings thsat Jesus is 'God' will be arrested, their homes & goods confiscated seized and they face execution, How far the church had strayed from the original little band of Jesus true followers! Paul fortold that this exactly what would happen though ( Acts 20;28-30) I respect your faith, please respect mine so we can bothj look to Jesus Christ as our saviour!

@Octamed Well, I don't think every christian thinks that way, but most Christians believe that God created the world to where we can't destroy the world that way. God created the water/carbon cycle to where we can't heat up the world to where we destroy it. Not that we should be careless, I'm not saying that at all! We should love the world that God put us on and take care of what He has given us. I hope that answers your question.

Jesus will show you great and marvelous things that you know not. He will come and sup with you. Then the chains will be broken off of you, and you will become a free thinker with a free spirit. Jesus offers you life eternal. He has done everything there is to do. Just repent, and turn to Him.

One question you could ask in relation to the question of was Yeshua was the son of God or God. Was Solomon King or the Son fo the King. The answer is both. He was one by virtue of being the other.

Jesus "God" calls Father God why He forsook Him... Jesus "God" says that Father is greater than Him, Jesus "God" says, that not Him but only Father knows when this hour comes.... Jesus "God" says that he returns to God, to Father... where you see, Jesus is God, I really cannot see... oh yes, you pull minority of verses form Bible, you obviously don't understand, to build your illogical idea, but you ignore majority verses saying opposite. I'd say that Satan love confusion, not if someone cites Jesus, that He is the Son. As for honouring Saturday (Sabbath) you have similar opinion... arguing with people how awful sins they commit when braking one of Ten Commandments, but you ignore Gods will to honour Saturday as the seventh day. Yes, I agree, that people won't be condemned to hell for not keeping Saturday (the Son - Fathers forgiveness is the Lord of the Sabbath), but as a Christian loving Father, why someone wouldn't keep it or even say, that it doesn't matter which day you keep? One person keeps Monday, another Tuesday... brothers wouldn't be able to do any work together. It a little bit looks to me, that you don't take Bible really seriously, that you pull out only what suits you maybe to feel self-righteous and superior.. hard to say.. And condemning people to Hell? (that they won't be saved), who believe that Father forgave their sins in Christ, His Son, only because in accordance with Bible they don't call Jesus God but Son... like really? "Before Moses I'm" means that Jesus - God's forgiveness, His Word, Son is with God from the beginning of times, where you see that Father God is Jesus... people, how you can exist in todays life if you don't have basics of logic? Do you have Leaving exam from Math? But to be honest, I've never had a problem with people saying that Jesus is God, because Jesus is one with God in a spirit, He preaches God's will, He sits by His right hand, He is His inseparable part, so you cannot spiritually really separate Him from the Father, see Him as someone else. But as a person the Father was, as far, as I know from Bible, greater - just citing Jesus... or you think that it's not true today, but it was true only during Jesus's life on the earth? You simply cannot have Jesus - God and somebody grater than Him. Pure logic. And argument that Jesus was the Son of Man and is a men is the same, that he was Son of God that He is God... like sorry.. you really don't see how ridicule argument it is? So angels are each God?

All mind-altering drugs are definitely witchcraft! I was hooked on prescription painkillers for years. It caused so much damage. I’m using low amounts of suboxone now, but I want off of those too. I pray all the time for freedom from it.
