The house Mary and Joseph stayed in was an ordinary home, but we don't understand it by todays standards. A typical 1st century home had 2 levels, lower level for the animals and upper level for humans. The "stable" was not an out building, just downstairs! It wasn't unusual for folks staying in the "stable" area when many folks were living in one house.

@@ThermaL-ty7bw For 39 years I have been a member of a Society founded by western Master of Yoga - Sir George King, through whom Jesus gave a series of recorded orations in 1958, published under the title of 'The Twelve Blessings'. Both George King and his mother Mary met Jesus on numerous occasions. The story of the nativity in Bethlehem was a cover story, he was not born there but was taken there around the age of two. He is still very active on Earth, and indeed other places. He is far more real than any of us. He came to Earth from the same place as The Lord Buddha (and several other Cosmic Masters) - The Bright and Morning Star - Venus. You can acquire not only written transcriptions of Jesus' orations but the actual voice recordings (on cd), which are not secret.
@LeslieAB303 жыл бұрын
@IamGrandMagus The Lord Buddha came from the same place Jesus did, around 400 years earlier. He returned to Earth in 1956 and is now resident on Shamballa. All of those great Masters taught conceptually the same things but using different presentations. Jesus and Buddha have been seen together, in fact at a festival a long while ago it was attended by Christians and Buddhists. As the wine started taking effect a brawl ensued and devotees started fight over who was the best. A glow appeared and it materiealised as Buddha. Then another glow next to him was Jesus. Buddha put his arm on Jesus' shoulder and said "This is my brother Jesus". They taught the same concepts as Krishna before them. Jesus however as far as the public were concerned taught a more basic day to day way of living, but taught his disciples a far more technical / yoga approach, similar to that of Buddha.
@LeslieAB303 жыл бұрын
@IamGrandMagus I am not a student of The Lord Buddha as such, you would have to delve into Buddhist teachings for that. People in various religions have been told that their beliefs are the only ones, and yet when one looks at the fundamentals they cover the same gound, it is only the approaches that are different. This has been exploited by the 'dark forces' to set people against each other. There has been a series of great teachers over the last five thousand years, starting with The Lord Krishna and ending with the English man Sir George King (founder of The Aetherius Society). As the Sun rises in the east and sets in the west so the great spiritual teachings were (in modern times) first given in the east, and have been updated in the west. Between August and October 1958 Jesus gave an updated extension to The Sermon on the mount which has been entitled 'The Twelve Blessings'. This is not only available in book form, but the actual audio recordings of Jesus giving it are also available on CD. This was done so that all people could actually listen to it, unlike the original sermon which is only available as text, which one hopes was written down correctly? The world is not ending, but we are in the latter days, and as you can see 'all hell is breaking loose' as the dark entities know their days are numbered.

This proves no one knows anything: James F. Strange, Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Southern Florida,[46] notes: "Nazareth is not mentioned in ancient Jewish sources earlier than the third century CE. This likely reflects its lack of prominence both in Galilee and in Judaea."[47] Strange originally calculated the population of Nazareth at the time of Christ as "roughly 1,600 to 2,000 people" but, in a subsequent publication that followed more than a decade of additional research, revised this figure down to "a maximum of about 480."[48] In 2009, Israeli archaeologist Yardenna Alexandre excavated archaeological remains in Nazareth that date to the time of Jesus in the early Roman period. Alexandre told reporters, "The discovery is of the utmost importance since it reveals for the very first time a house from the Jewish village of Nazareth."[49][50] No one has any proof of the name Nazareth. Simcha is fantastic but there is no proof.

He is finally being recognized as the main creator of the Jesus Mystery Religion, although it may be seen as a school of Docetism and/or Esoteric Judaism. That recreation Nazeret village is amazing. Can you stay there like in a hotel? Since stories change over time it's best to record them in clay. The philistines fled the babylonians to settle the coast lines of the med. Then in the crusades they came home again. The regents have followed the line of Joseph since his rule as governor of Egypt. The fact that someone named Joseph had a son that acted regally from Natzeret is not departing from ancient tradition. The tribe of Joseph includes not only his two sons Mannaseh and Ephraim but also his concubines that remained in Egypt and settled throughout europe over time. The hebrew term for the concubines of Joseph was Ben Porat Yosef, son of the (vine or fruit) of joseph. Can we say that Jeshua was born of a mother of Bet Lechem and a father of Porat Yosef, an ideal marriage.

@Bernard Wilson Yes, JC returned, or got absorbed into, the Father/Divinity - the metaphor used in Hinduism is the "merging of the river with the sea or ocean". Once merged, the personality is gone. The one who actually returns is the Father in the form of an avatar, defined as the descent as partial Divinity [ e.g. Rama ] or full Divinity [e.g. Krishna]. Anyway, Big Chief has already descended 3x - the third avataric incarnation is presently 10 yrs old. He'll make a public appearance and declare his mission when he reaches 18 or 19 yrs, which is around 2029. But watch out for the period 2025 - 2030 as this is the time of the "transition" or earth-shattering shift and yes, it looks like we'll majorly occupy front-row seats in the cosmic roller-coaster ride of a lifetime. If only people knew the time they are now living in and what they will have to go through in the near future - in less than 5 yrs!! ... some of the greatest saints and yogis have also descended [ quietly, without a splash ] to help with the mission. The apostle Peter has been actively working alongside the second avatar, who is, this time round, the Father himself! Though born in India (Nov 28, 2011), his headquarters will be in Europe where he will spend most of his life. And yes, this third avatar will have the likeness of Jesus and this "Second Coming" corresponds to "The Millennium" and the Sathya Yuga [ aka Age of Truth = Golden Age ] which will last a thousand years. Some people have already seen him [in a vision] riding a white horse! His name is Prema Sai. 'Prema' means 'love'. 'Sai' means 'mother'. The name of Jesus is ISA in India. If you rearrange the letters of ISA, you'll get SAI.
@sundarex4 жыл бұрын
@Bernard Wilson You're exactly right. The 2nd avatar has been asking his followers to look for Him within : "Find me within - in the heart." He calls the sweet spot "the Heart of Love". Not the physical heart but that which is kind of behind the physical heart. If you focus there, you'll soon find the vibration starting up. Amazing to feel and watch it activating, this strong current of energy which is best experienced by oneself. note: As I was focusing on and typing the word "heart", the TV that was switched on blarred out the same word "heart" The guy was talking about giving his heart to his beloved. - what beautiful synchronicity!

@@Exiledk "Don't hold your breath..". There's no need to, because have you thought that Jesus may have returned already, not physically but spiritually. The manger was what animal feed was kept in. It was likely to have been made of stone. 'Carpenters' worked in wood and stone. There are also the references from the discovery at Nag Hamati, regarding early years of Jesus although the evidence between the death of Herod( the great) in 4 BCE, and what the flight to Egypt by Joesph and Mary depicts. That it was the time of the massacre of the innocents and the death of Herod. From the astronomical records of an event in 3 BCE by the Chinese astrologers. Such part of the story cannot be reconciled. As with the actual location of the. Bethlehem of the story and the real location. And the time line of events. Either an additional astrological event went unrecorded, or it was added into the story additionally, it would have placed the birth of Jesus to before the death of Herod spans before the massacre of the Innocents , (the uprising of the students). Or it was a matter of spin doctoring by Luke.

Walter Ulasinksi are you referring to the extra biblical texts of a young Jesus with extraordinary superpowers who killed many boys his age?
@walterulasinksi70314 жыл бұрын
ARTHUR AMANTE, Yes. That these extra Biblical texts exist in reference to Jesus, is a part of the mielu, as they would place a child of around 5-6 years of age in Egypt before the death of Herod. Since Herod died in 4BCE, and there are records of Herod having put down a student uprising shortly before his death, ( slaughter of the innocents?), circa 5-4 BCE. That would place the birth of Jesus around 10-9 BCE. This also cannot be reconciled with the story of the Star of Bethlehem which as an astronomical event, was only recorded in Chinese texts Circa 3BCE. About a year after the death of Herod. .

According to the New Testament, it was the “Wise men from the East” that followed a star, as there are no Roman records regarding any astronomical omens. Judea prohibited the seeking of knowledge from witches and astrologers. So apparently, no one there was looking. It is generally considered that the wise men were Zoroastrian astrologers.

If you consider the gospel accounts of the early life of Jesus, you can clearly see he was born in Bethlehem near Jerusalem! This makes much more sense! Because of the threat of king Herod, Jesus, Joseph and Mary, fled to Egypt, which was directly to the south! This is far more likely vs them fleeing all the way to Egypt from the Bethlehem of Nazareth! This just wouldn't have worked, with a young child and a women! Also Jesus was later called Jesus of Nazareth, because they simply settled in Nazareth later on, this was after fleeing to Egypt! I believe this idea that Jesus was born in Bethlehem near Nazareth, is a myth, conceived by those who want to deny the truth that Jesus was and still is the long awaited Messiah of prophesy! I hardly think that a mere ancient wall is going to be enough evidence to contradict the rich, historical and traditional history which most of us subscribe to today!

In the 3rd c AD the emperor Constantine sent his mother Helena , who was 80 years old and a christian to the holy land . While she was their she uncover the traditional sites of Christ life and built churches over them . These sites were not accidental but were based on early Christian traditions. Jesus was a real human being . He had a family and friends who not only were aware of his uniqueness but were present or had associations with eye witness who could verify the validity of the places mentioned in the gospels. In fact at many of the traditional sites, historians have discovered ancient writing on the walls confirming that they were visited by early christians . This created a problem for the roman authorities who wanted to crush the chrtian movement. The emperor Hadian in the early 2nd c was so determined to suppress christianity he built temples over the sites to undermine christians from visting them.

I really appreciate someone who is not afraid of Christians and what they will say or do to protect their beliefs. Christians have been known to kill and slander anyone who gets in their way. The sad part is Jesus said not to do these things. So the question is who do Christians really follow. I love these series because I to love God and facts don’t scare me. I follow The teachings of Jesus, like he said to do. Love not hate. The fact of the matter is not everything in the Bible is correct. But that is okay. Not what Jesus said to do or every did. Actually he did the opposite. And it is still happening. For the first 26 years of my I attended a church three times a week minimum. I was to scared of hell and punishment from family and peers to question everything that didn’t make sense to me. Finally I was tiered of being scared so I begged GOD to show me the truth. I was led to study history and only the teachings of Jesus. This is when then questioning began. This is why I speak out harshly, because my soul cry’s when I see what is being done yet today. I know I sound extreme. But I feel it needs to be said. I don’t hate Christians, I know great people who are Christians. But I have seen first hand where people following dogmas from Paul used his teachings to abuse others and justify it as following Jesus. I will speak out.

I hadn't known the layout of the traditional birthplace of Jesus. All I knew was the small room with the "plaque" like the rays of a star or the sun. Simcha, you said it obviously wasn't a stable but more like the bottom floor of a house. I was shocked. That's exactly the setting, despite some of the questionable translations from Greek to English, that Jesus was more likely to be born in. Though not mentioned, the story of the "inn" having no room for them is highly unlikely. What is more likely is that Joseph had family and friends in Bethlehem and a typical home for Jews who had homes hewn from rock (or built) was to keep their animals safe from weather and thieves by 'stabling' them in the lower section of a two story house, though it was not exclusively for the animals and could also be used to house young family members or visitors. This was explained to me by an Israeli scholar. So, If Joseph was in the family home, the most logical place for Mary to give birth might be on the bottom floor that was also used for the stabling of animals, though, I'm sure the goats and sheep would have spent the night outside on that occasion. I was expecting the location to be other than that but you've actually reinforced the possibility of what was the most likely setting for the Nativity.

Like so much else in the gospels, the birth in Bethlehem is all about fulfilling Old Testament prophesy, in this case Micah 5:2. This prophesy is quoted at Matthew 2:6. The verse that says Jesus wasn't born in Bethlehem is John 7:42: "Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the offspring of David, and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?” Like Matthew, John is quoting Micah, but for the opposite purpose.

Gospel of Philip, I think 47 or 48: "The apostles that came before us called him Jesus Nazarene the Christ." Note the word: Nazarene which comes from Nazara; means the truth. Now you can understand the phrase, Jesus, the True or truthful Messiah. Not Jesus of Nazareth after the city we call Nazareth today. The early church and the members were called Nazirite meaning the truthful church not the church from so called Nazareth. Nazarene is the first term for Christian before Antioch and has no relationship with the city given the name Nazareth. 'Never heard of the place' - Josephus In his histories, Josephus has a lot to say about Galilee (an area of barely 900 square miles). During the first Jewish war, in the 60s AD, Josephus led a military campaign back and forth across the tiny province. Josephus mentions 45 cities and villages of Galilee - yet Nazareth not at all. Nazareth was founded around 1115 CE, The Talmud, Saint Paul or any historian in first century Isra-EL ever mentions Nazareth. It really must have been a shit hole. Ha, ha. No shit hole. It was made up by latter Christian that did not understand Aramaic and had lost the real meaning of: Yeshua, Mashiach o Nazoraios.............Jesus Christ the Truthful one. Naked Archaeologist, go find Nazareth and prove my theory wrong. I believe Jesus was from Gamla. Today, I think, is known as the West Bank or the Golan Heights.

The Wise men were first mentioned in Daniel 2 wherein their necks were saved by Daniel by interpreting the forgotten dream of Nebuchadnezzar during his 2nd year as King of Babylon. The golden i,mage that Nebuchadnezzar dreamed was the Timeline of the Times of the Gentile dominion over the holy site of in Jerusalem. Babylon captured Jerusalem in 597 BC but the rise of Nebuchadneesar was 11 years earlier in 618 BC. The total Gentile Dominion over Jerusalem will be 66 times 40 years or 2640 years. The Gentile Dominion will end on December 11, 2023 before the start of the Millennium Reign of Christ Jesus. On October 24, 620 BC, there was this triple conjunction of Jupiter with Regulus and the Magi attributed this great conjunctions to Nebuchadnezzar. After Daniel saved the Magi, Daniel became the head of the Magis. Maybe, Daniel corrected their interpreation of the Jupiter-Regulus triple conjunction to the coming of the Messiah. After 12 years, the 2nd part of the triple conjunction of Jupiter came on September 22, 608 BC and the dream of Nebuchadnezzar was in 603 BC. This was the 40th two-part conjunctions and Daniel gave them another 7 more conjunction before the Messiah will be born. The 47th part 1 was on October 5, 15 BC and the part 2 was on September 14, 3 BC, three days after Jesus was born and 600 years after Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The 2nd conjunction was on February 17, 2 BC and 3rd conjunction was on May 9, 2 BC. On August 31, 2 BC, Tishri 1, at Jesus 1st birthday, the Magi left the Persian court where they work as astrologers and King's adviser and took a 112-day or 16 Sabbaths caravan journey to Jerusalem. They arrived in Jerusalem at the start of the Festival of Light, Hanukkah on December 23rd, 2 BC. They were invited to Herod's Palace on December 24, 2 BC. On the first Christmas, the Magis presented their gifts of gold for wealth, myrrh for good health and frankincense for offering to Yahweh to the First Family. At this time, Jesus was already one year and 3 months old. They dressed up like Magi and escaped to Egypt at their caravan on December 26th. On December 28, 2 BC, on the New Moon, was the killing of all 2 year and under kids in Bethlehem, from the rising of Jupiter at sunrise on on July 20, 3 BC. Unto this day, December 28 is called Ninos Inocentes. On December 24th, 2 BC, the rising of Jupiter in the east was at 10:15 pm and the Magi saw its rising and they were glad as they step outside the palace of Herod. By 5 AM, Jupiter was on its peak mid-point in the sky and it started to go to southwest position. By the dawn of sunrise at 5:30 AM, Jupiter started to go down towards the south-west direction and if you plot its position to the horizon, it points directly to the Bethlehem area where Jesus was born. It was the first Christmas on December 25, 2 BC. As a young man born of fornication, Jesus Bar Mitzvah was at 12 year old, like the Jewish girls today. When it was the turn of the kids from Bethlehem were called, he was all alone. And yet, even while alone with the scribes and Pharisees, Jesus got lots of questions to them. He was not like John the Baptist who was born with the holy spirit already on him, so as a young boy of body and soul, he was allowed to ask question at the time of Bar Mitzvah. This was how the Levites in the Temple knew that this was the boy that the killing of two-year olds was done in Bethlehem at Hanukkah 2 BC. Jesus was all alone but still his parents got tired waiting for him and eventually, they were carried with their religious obligations and they had forgotten who was taking care of Jesus.

His disciples mentioned the power that the Romans had over them, several times, and Jesus would make statements like, "Give to Ceasar what is Caesar's, give God what is God's". If all of these statements have been altered over the years, to be politically correct, by the early Roman Catholic church, how dependable is the current new testament?

Claire defending the NT does some major matrixing and adding to both Matthew and Luke. Luke clearly says it was about the census, and they went to an *inn* not a family member's house. This is what Christians have always done with the birth narratives. They combine Matthew and Luke which are completely different narratives. In Matthew's narrative they had a house, and pagan sorcerers from Babylon were coming to recognize their pagan god. For some reason though the star guides them to Jerusalem first, to tell Herod. In Luke's narrative, Herod isn't there, the Babylonian mystics aren't there. Nor is a house, they were shoved in a manger because the inn was full. And btw, the census wouldn't demand people go to their home city.
