I'm with Ebro on this. Joe has been the biggest Eminem supporter all through 2017. Every time Dj Akademiks criticized Em, Joe checked him. Joe was just being honest & you have to respect that honesty.
@69bumbaclat7 жыл бұрын
Joe said he has no loyalty to Eminem, he only has loyalty to Royce, which is what actually pissed Bizzare off. That he would say he only has loyalty to Royce but Eminem is the one who signed him and made slaughterhouse happen. Doubt they really cared that he said something about the album but him adding that he has no loyalty to Eminem, that makes it more personal.
@blackestboy68717 жыл бұрын
LOL, Why do you think this? Joe said he owes his career to Em on everyday struggle.
@3000cbreezy7 жыл бұрын
I agree with Ebro. As a member of the Shady team and a lyricist himself, Joe was just being honest about the album which a creator should do, especially if your friends. Joe had supported him all thru 2017, Joe specifically said that Em was on his list of nobody to go at. However, he could've worded his criticism better. But Lets be fr, was he really gonna do that? C'mon its Joe Budden....Plus Joe said the album was trash, but he still gave Em credit afterwards as being the best

He's signed to Em's label..... let yo homie talk behind your back, and get a word of it. You coo with that? It's not about being an "yes man", it's about being loyal.

So we criticize the new rappers for putting out “trash”... but can’t criticize the old rappers putting out trash, Ebro right it’s about the music if we want better music we gotta call a spade a spade. Last couple Eminem projects haven’t been good, the only reason why em is a big deal is cause of his huge white fan base that will never criticize him. If any other older rapper put out trash no one would buy their album but Eminem can put out garbage and sell at least 200k first week
@tank1002867 жыл бұрын
Prince Kollie Joe just didn't criticize any old rapper. He Criticized his Boss to the media. If you have a problem with an teammate, coach, or owner. You talk about it amongst yourselves between them. You don't go to the media or on a show to talk about them. I don't get how some of you isn't even looking at it that way. Let one of lebron teammates talk mess about him in the media. I bet you that player gets traded.

Grant Hill Em must be projectile vomiting after Revival, he’s a known perfectionist and the fact he released the remix to chloraseptic acknowledging the haters shows he’s feeling some type of wau
@granthill51867 жыл бұрын
without a doubt he is feeling not great about the reception and impact of the album. Eminem is a technical perfectionist with all the little details, but there have been times where more broad concepts have not been thought out as well as one would expect from Eminem. He probably sitting back wondering why it didn't connect as well as other records. It sounded like he really wanted to grow in a direction he hasn't already been . This will piss him off so im interested to see how this will impact his creative direction on the next album.

Joe went beyond saying "I don't like the song." If that was all I'd think Em was being oversensitive but he also questioned Em's motivations in terms of rapping against Trump and police violence; plus he put Em on his 2017 trash list "before" hearing the entire album. Questioning motives and putting someone on a trash list before hearing the album goes beyond simple criticism of a song you don't like.

Joe Budden was correct on Eminem

Can someone link the Joe Budden criticism? Was it general because he's been going off on the album since it came out or was there a specific video that everyone is reference?

Can somebody explain why they think Revival is trash? Have you really listened to it?
@Veon_Ray7 жыл бұрын
missxcrazyy I just asked somebody those same exact questions today...and they responded with "well...I HEARD it was trash", smh.
@missxcrazyy7 жыл бұрын
Veon Ray exactly. It's like a trend now to hate em and say his album is trash, but I doubt that people have actually listened to the album. And I'm not talking about listening to it once, but really hearing what he is saying.. I just can't understand how u can think that it's trash

Why are you guys hating on Joe, he was giving his opinion. Joe was slayed for not saying things about Eminem and now he's being slayed for actually saying something. And he didn't say anything wrong

Honestly I liked Revival, I personally don't understand all the hate. Legit it was because he dissed Trump that all the Trump supports have been against him. Relapse was 10x worse than Revival and did not get this much hate, Recovery was the first album to feature so called 'pop' songs and yet people loved it.... but than he disses trump and the world hates his album. meh just my two cents.
@Boobywara7 жыл бұрын
naw ion see the correlation because by that logic the dozens of rap albums or songs that have been released in the past year containing a trump diss should be floppin

The only reason why joe has a podcast and people talk about him is cause of EM. Em made joe relevant again. That’s the whole point. And maybe you guys should listen to revival again instead of expecting “ lit “ songs all the time

Nobtging as too honest. Only truths, lies and opinions. The problem is that fat too many people believes that their personal opinions are facts. Honestly, I wouldn't know if I could side with Joe on this because I don't listen to Em to even have and opinion. Not a fan, or even a listener.
