2011 was the first full year I was into Kpop and I now know just how influential this year was for me!

Had to come back to this video to check. You missed my favorite kpop boy group, AA (Double A) they debuted November 4th 2011 with "So Crazy" and my life was never the same!

I refuse to believe that bubble pop and step are a decade old

In 2011, I was still trying to catch up with older releases, and discovering how often they all had comebacks! It was a bit daunting for a westerner who was used to a slower pace. And figuring out all the fandom stuff, and how to order stuff (there wasn't much info), and finally finding lyric videos, because not many had eng sub yet. I was living on YT and still here today. Thanks for reminding me of some songs that I haven't listened to in years!

Thankfully it's gotten lots easier to buy albums and music!

I have to say I really love these videos of the music that came out each year. Great Job!

Nice List👍 But many of the songs did I hear already in some other connection (most times in one of your other lists)... But still much new input :-)

For awhile, I thought I was not going to know very many, but it evened out more as the video went on, and as long as I tracked it right, I knew one more song than I didn't know.... just barely passed the 50% mark! There were several artists I hadn't heard of, but what surprised me more were releases from artists I do have music from.... apparently I have some discography diving to do

Very cool that you know over half! And that's my favourite part of this series - discovering hidden gems you would never have found otherwise

I've also totally lost touch with western songs, I would say around 2015 onward for me personally

Great video, as always! I think this made me nostalgic for the instant catchiness and vocals - I feel like there's so much emphasis on overall performance/dance that I really miss vocally strong groups like 2ne1 and Secret.

Great point! There were tons of strong vocalists back then

yes, kpop music is better a decade ago. i am sad that only a few from that time were still active on doing good music until this time. one of them is APINK. April 19, 2011 is a blessing when 7 angels came to earth. APINK please comeback ❤️ Pandas misses you so much 🐼💕
