My heart broke for Mzi when she called him an Afrikaaner. There is a very negative stereotype of an Afrikaans person in South Africa. (They are the stereotype of the white DEIC settler of the1652, the oppressor of Black people in South Africa. Not all Afrikaans people are bad, just that what she called him is a stereotype)Mzi has to do a balancing act between two cultures. What Lexi said was so very hurtful. My husband has a younger foster sister who is Xhosa, (same story as Mzi - she only came to live with us when she was a tween) so for me this hurt my heart, I was just imagining what was going through his mind to have a lady of colour saying that to him. Courtney was favoured by Katie so that helped a lot. Sandy didn’t have an issue with Lexi’s work ethic, the issues were she couldn’t control her temper, reacted to provocation, couldn’t get along with others, bad attitude. I mean even if you have 20 toys to blow up it really doesn't matter if there is only one pump and each toy is only pumped up one at a time - they literally have a whole resource available for pumping toys and they don't take long... Plus the slide is the main thing and the jet skis, paddling boards etc. No guest is gonna ever complain for toys to be pumped quicker - the main thing is they just need to stay inflated properly once pumped.

Lexi is seriously damaged. I don't know if she's always been that way or if losing her father caused it but it's still no excuse to treat others who have done nothing but try to be her friend in that manner! She needs to be let go so she can go home and sign up for some serious therapy.

Every time Katie haas tried to discuss Lexi’s subpar performances and behavior to the crew, Sandy has cut Katie off and turned the situation int9 Katie needing to improve her leadership. Having Lexi ease dropping and pushing herself into the situation has made Sandy think Katie isn’t getting the best from Lexi. It’s impossible to get improvement from staff who tell you they don’t care and proceed to call their Mum while yo7 are calmly trying to discuss the issue. It was VERY OBVIOUS Lexi was not giving her best on A.M. service because she felt laundry duty was below her. I still think Lexi should have been fired after becoming physically aggressive with the guys. She crossed the line by sexually shoving her breasts in Lloyd’s face and then called him the P word, made offensive comments about Mzi being South African, physically aggressively touched David, attacked all the girls who were trying to be patient with her and then played the victim to Sandy. I was especially irritated to see Sandy eve n then baby her, let her get away with too many eyes and never sincerely apologizing for her behavior. Anyone who repeatedly proudly refers to themselves as “Satan” is someone who has serious issues. I hope Sandy was appalled as we were to see Lexi repeatedly tell her coworkers how much better she is than they are. Absolutely the worst behavior in all the seasons! The rest of the crew has been terrific after Matt got his act together.

ah. but hannah was the original rat on this series. in season 1, hannah went to captain mark and ratted on little danny, telling the captain about pictures of guests on danny's phone. while it is frowned upon, it is not illegal, unlike hannah having drugs without a perscription, which IS illegal. hannah had bad karma coming her way.

Lexi’s behaviour wasn’t good but Kate was also not a good Chief Stew and clearly favoured Courtney. Lexi kept reacting badly to Matt’s provocation and she felt she had no friends on the yacht so her attitude and behaviour slowly got worse. I respect Malia for at least trying to not blame Lexi for absolutely everything because Courtney also called her the ‘C’ word, Matt kept poking and nobody stepped in until Lexi started name calling, Kate behaved unprofessionally a number of times. Captain Sandy made the best decision to let Lexi go home but I think Matt was given passes just because he was the chef. I also respect David for speaking about his own mental health struggles and recognising how Lexi might be feeling. Nobody’s perfect and we all have things to learn, and things we could do better. This crew more than some of the previous crews seemed to operate in a way that included everyone but only if they stayed in line. Lexi wasn’t supported as much as she could have been by Kate or the others because she didn’t go around twerking and calling men ‘daddy’. Malia has really grown as a person and was great as a Bosun. I wish the whole crew the best in whatever they do.

Lexi's behaviour was not acceptable at all. However, I have the impression that this season, too many people were not qualified for the job. I find it funny that a person like Chef Mat, who left the boat twice talks about other people not pulling their weight. The food shown on the show was more than mediocre. Generally the service is far below a good five star hotel and not acceptable for a super yacht. To be honest, I am always surprised that people tolerate this low services quality for the high costs of chartering a boat this size. The lady, who rated his food 4/10 was absolutely right. I am pretty sure, that on shore non of the interior crew including the chef, would last a day in 3 star restaurant. Lexi was one of the problems but not the problem.

Sorry but Lexi is not pulling the same amount of weight the other interior crew is. She seems to have excuses a lot. Ask for help if you feel overwhelmed. Although I don’t condone what Lexi did to Hannah, she really had no choice. I would have gone to Hannah first but you have to admit, she is a good manager. Look at what she does with Delaney - essentially teaching her but leaning on her to do all the work - and then what's popping up next episode (10?), where again she blows up. The reasoning i believe, is because 1st, matt had a great attitude to stay on the boat and helping out with the last charter, and not half assing it, going full into it, and seeming to have learnt a lesson from his behavior. 2nd, Sandy knows hes a fantastic chef, and she knows nothing of this quarantined chef. Why take a chance when you know matts capabilities.
