One would think that optimized and spot on profiles would be something every printer manufacturer should provide without a question.

For £3250 I would of expected a machined hotend adaptor I wouldn't want anything 3d printed on this machine for the cost. I hope the connectors on the wire are gold because u can honestly see why it should cost this much.

*_The presentation was spot on they (Syndaver Axi) failed in providing everything you needed while making sure the product they sent performed and represented them in a good light. You just showed the world what they sent. To me, this was a total failure for the price._*

So I am squarely in the use case for this machine - hence owning a Lulzbot Workhorse. I was really hoping they'd take the "lackluster but I see the potential" Lulzbot Workhorse, fix some of the obvious issues and shortcomings with it, and turn around something quality. Looks like they've made some progress in getting there, but only about halfway.

Hey thanks! I fell asleep watching this last night and woke up to Spin Doctor blasting out of my echo that is hooked out to my sound system, and got a random reminder to drink water as 9am! I was like WTF happened last night...but I was able to listen back to the command and figure out that the video triggered the events; and I didn’t just want to listen to Spin Doctors at 2am and I am not setting middle of the night reminders to drink water!

In my opinion tho. Just buy us both a prusa mk3 and save yourself 1500$ 😁
@chipcinnamon45593 жыл бұрын
@@lessthanahome It's basically the same exact printer. They use the same machined parts, the same PSU, the same dimensions, the same core linear motion design. It was shipped out the door as Syndaver when Lulzbot nearly went under, and some of the team that made the Pro/WH took their designs over to SynDaver. So, saying 'go Lulzbot' is, at best, a lateral move. Both Syndaver and Lulzbot offer a very poor value proposition, even for a business, IMO.

what is it exactly that makes this printer worth more than say 7-800 $? i really want to know
@elofgren14 жыл бұрын
So similar to the Lulzbot, the argument is that there's a degree of reliability to it - the frame itself is sturdy, the wiring is *much* more reassuring, etc. And when something's wrong, there's someone you can call. Whether or not this is *accurate* is another question, but it's appealing for people who want a printer for an aspect of their work, not a new hobby. That's why I ended up buying a Lulzbot Workhorse a year or so ago.

Thank you for showing us that this unit fails on almost everything, including price. I was exited on this printer because I'm thinking about buying a better one, instead of my Ender 3 pro, but now I know the Ender is far more better than this pos.

I cringed when I saw that too. The care isn't there most likely because he didn't spend his own money on it. And the dude "running" the cameras can't be bothered with monitoring his video feeds or he would have seen what Joel can't see. He must be more concerned with the chat logs.

@3DPrintingNerd4 жыл бұрын
I was worried and went back and watched the footage. The tool head bends around like that because of the design of the extruder mount AND because of how not-tight the mount around the IGUS bearings. It's a bunch of 3d printed parts holding it in place, and in this case, nothing was tight. That is why I had to take it apart and tighten all the screws. The play in the toolhead wasn't from what I was doing, it was there and what I was doing showed it off.

@chipcinnamon45593 жыл бұрын
@@3DPrintingNerd Joel, I think your review was spot on. This is effectively a rebadged Taz Pro with a different toolhead and a slightly different bed assemby (but the core Y axis design is identical otherwise). Your observations on faults are in line with my experience having worked with Lulzbot machines utilizing these virutally identical designs. It's not a good value proposition. You were surprisingly polite about the situation you found in front of you, relative to the price, and, honestly, I applaud you for not editing out the reality of these designs.

Looks like a $3,250.00 sized useless piece of crap. If this is a "high end machine" then the first CR-X was a visionary master piece of technology. I this does not get the same outrageous criticism than the CR-X got, the things are going to look suspicious.
@radovanobal38424 жыл бұрын
You don't need to change anything on an Ender 3 after you only change the, hotend, logic board, install driect drive, install dual Z, re mount the spool holder off the printer, change the bed springs, install a better ptfe tube, basically everything but the frame :D

@arunpools4 жыл бұрын
Seriously? This one has to be dialed in? For that kind of money i would expect that thing to rock right out of the box! Dialing-in is ok in Ender3 territory but even in its case with the 'hydrated' filament that ships in the box, i'm pretty sure that the pawn model would come just fine right out of the box. Either this printer is total garbage or that wobble in the print head (which shouldn't be there in the first place in a 3k+ printer) is causing those weird artifacts.
