Meh. Elixirs and Transcendence are still there. Solo raids are cool and I can def get some friends into the game to at least have some good fun but I get shivers thinking that I'll need to eventually get all my alts to 1620 and do Elixirs to all of them... I'm seriously considering becoming a seasonal solo raid enjoyer who comes back every few months when a new raid gets into solo mode.

+1 this is literally the opinion of nearly everyone i know who plays it, also forcing players to do hard mode version of raids also is killing it as most peeps dont have time to clear these... i went from spending 3 nights raiding doing everything, to making it to HM volids on 2 chars and thaemine on 2 to spending 6-7 nights raiding and spending so much time rolling elixirs / trans and doing mini games... they need to just nerf elixir and trans into the ground and make it so they are achievable via normal mode for full power with little effort.... or put a pity system into elixir that allows you to just add nodes or instant remove 1-2 options... think im going to do the same as you and just come back for new raid for some quick fun... game is on its way out i think unfortunately one of my favourite games ever for class / raids... shame to see it :(

I just make my first elxir yesterday and it was super easy and fun , and when you look around literally everyone have a decent elxir , but braclet is a different matter , very few people have a top bracelet.

@@s.a4034 people just dont care as much about bracelets because an average bracelet vs a really good one is a difference of 5-6% but its a different thing with elixirs. Yea its 5% "skill" and 95% luck its still multiple layered RNG. If you dont get good options or the right effect its skill issue or what? With trans its a different thing theres no min/maxing behind it. if you get 20 flowers you are done but with elixirs you can min max till you have all 5/5 without filler and it takes ages to cut some good elixirs

I was watching stoopz stream (mr hype positive guy) so with all these changes and such i was hyped. It was almost a sensory overload. Got excited. But then once i thought about it more and read some comments - they really didn't fix anything have they? Other than solo raids until voldis for totally new players, but even those are implemented poorly. I can already imagine reapers joining thaemine and doing 100% front attack as that's what they trained for the entire time. They should've just recorded a few pulls and replayed it with the 7 cpus. But other than solo and a few changes, everything else screams like: whales, time to pay up. It almost smells like desperation, nothing was actually changed other than to reset your progress to entice you to spend. Nothing fundamentally got reworked - dailies are the same, alts are same, even the way you use alts to make it more alt friendly didn't get anything. How is it season 3 if fundamentally nothing got changed? It's season2:tier4. They had chance to unify gems to roster, make some sort of roster shared ilvl for alts or how bdo does it, make gems delectable without rerolling, fix all kinda things and rewamp. Why are una tasks even in the game still? If you ask me they see that players are burning out and they want that last big cash grab before its too late.

It resets the endless grind we're in right now -- 'Lv10 gems (400k), Armor honing / weapon honing to +25 to get accepted into groups (up to 5 million), stuff like that. and if the next raid is at the 1640 ilvl, it will reset that extreme gatekeeping we reached now where you need to grind for 3-6 months to get mats only to pity a piece and have to farm another 3-6 months or spend $1000 to get to an acceptable point for pugs. It's a good change. Also the engraving support, ark passive, free gems, etc... all these make it easier for new players and veterans, and simplifies trying different builds and class engravings (still need gems but now you dont need to invest 100k - 1 million before you start raiding on a new char. Also every class is getting new skills/awakenings that will change their builds and how they feel and new gems will scale even further, giving you shorter cooldowns and stuff. and your stats are no longer on accessories so it should be super easy to change your stats (from spec crit to spec swift or crit swift for example) too. Eveything isn't fixed, sure. But I think it will make it alot better for everyone. It's a massive QoL everywhere.

@@fataliity101 It resets the endless grind of T3, with another endless grind in T4. Nothing has changed man. This is a soft reset masked by elements of hard reset. While the extreme gatekeeping will be somewhat alleviated on the short term, on the long term the same gearing discrepancies will pop up and extreme gatekeeping will once again resurface. They did not fix the most horrendous RNG systems, Elixirs and Transcendence, preferring instead to patch things up by giving you twice more and nerfing gold. This is nothing more than a band aid. They buffed honing up to 1580 only, ignoring the fact that the most expensive honing phase is from 1580 to 1620. Not only that, you will be slapped in the face with more RNG systems, admittedly not as bad as Elixir/Transcendence, but still bad overall.

I mean you are saying that gems are getting stronger etc. but are they? Does any source of power we get really do something besides bigger numbers? Because new raids will be for sure scaled for new gems and new systems, it is not like we will be killing bosses faster. If will AGS introduce system which is giving us +20% damage we can expect to have bosses which got +20% HP. It is fake power which we are getting. On top of that with T4 will be gold from all old bosses minimal, so we will not really get any advantage.

Small correction catty T3 10 gems are 40% damage T4 8 gems are 36% damage and .80% ap Now, on the surface it seems like a nerf, but every gem, including cd from 7-10 will increase base AP as well. So say a full set of t4 lvl 8 gems. You will have 8.80% extra AP. So we lose 1.40/1.36 = 2.9% damage from damage skills but GAIN 8.80% AP at same lvl gems. So it’s a pretty big net gain! Just wanted to correct that. You were right gems got buffed, but wanted to explain why and how

I’m pretty neutral about the LOAon, some big W’s, some big L’s: Main W’s IMHO: - Ark Passive; - Solo Raids; - Finally out of Akkan Gear; - Simplified coins, and other systems; Main L’s: - T4 doesn’t get rid of Elixir/Transcendence, plus 50% cost reduction doesn’t solve any of the issues with the system, lost opportunity; - Cards only a small change, in the form of LOS/KLC 24, plus more card sets, should’ve been deleted completely; - Have to interact with quality again, it’s an old system, should not been revived; - New stone cutting, based on new meta but stone cutting is the same cancer experience as before. Plus since more damage, another gatekeeping stat; - Roster 400, just another lvl. to gatekeep. Another thing I want to see, is with the gold nerfs to raids up to 1600, how to support main, plus how are new/returning players to get to 1620, if support ends at 1600, honing up to 1620 is costly and has to do Elixirs/Transcendence, so gold starvation plus long time to get all those extra systems done, otherwise they won’t be accepted to parties… In the end, they could’ve made a big L but as usual, they put monetization above all, so they decided to keep systems to just make ppl have to pay up not be be gatekept.

I think it wasnt bad but not as good as people say, Solo raids untill Voldis big mistake people will still struggle to get into Thaemine just like before, no elixir changes, no substantial horizontal or anything, ancient UE3 forever at this point, new player will have more freedom but this is not enough to keep them playing Endgame because the problem of ridiculous gatekeeping will continue or even aggravated with the increased roster/char levels and real endgame raids behind crazy tedious mechanics

IDK what people were thinking talking about being done with their characters. This is an MMO at the end of the day...your character is never done. @@omarnaffeti1847 Just that you don't win pretty much anything. The nerfed the gold, but you get 2x more to craft. Which means you spend twice more so there is no gold nerf. If you don't get lucky with the 3x RNG layer that Elixir/Transcendence is, then GGs. You still spend hundreds of thousands of gold per char. Now of course, the said they will go into more details in a dev blog. So I am waiting to see if they nerfed them more than what they presented in the livestream. But if this is all they did to them, then they haven't done anything, except slapping a band aid on an open wound.

And it would be so easy to fix, I think I wrote this on another video already; Make the first Node a selectable, make animations SKIPABLE, introduce a pity system like in transcendence (like if you fail to get a 5/5 10 times in a row, all your 5 nodes start with a point already or you have an additional round to roll)... Man, there are dozens of ideas and they choose "gold reduction"? How lazy is that.

Lots of core issues are still there in T4, we depend on 6 char roster, we depend on heavy rng on most progression systems, we still have tonz of homework, we still don't close up the gap to KR, we still depend on supports, we still have to live with korean mindset in a western version, we still have rmt and bots, we still have a shiddy shop, we still can't take a breather between contentpatches... I hope you see that Loaon is just a bandaid and doesn't touch the core problems

I like a lot of the ideas and t4 but it's also just dirty of a way to try and milk more 1620s from people to get to next tier, most likely without helping honing costs to 1620 - other then materials being devalued because there's new ones. Maybe that alone will help with everyone possibly getting 1540 or 1580 lopangs now for cheaper but still seems like an excuse for all 1620-1640 6 roster and a haha to anyone who is 1640 for behemoth already. The gems are not getting down leveled... we are goin from t3 lvl 10 to t4 lvl8 gems, was not the case with t2 -> t3 remember? What is interesting tho, they figured a way to make all classes use 10 gems by adding passives to them. TL;DR: 2 gems classes are no longer viable as you will be gimping your class output by a a lot.

Cards suck, card runs suck. I lowkey was hoping that the card run dungeons were also solo-able, but that doesn't appear to the case. So even if it sucked, it was something you could easily do on your own time without the need of others. Anything to help those people without LoS30 get there faster. But other than the cards problem, I don't see much to be upset about. In fact, the LoS24 still is better than nothing. I hope getting to 1620 will be significantly easier in the near future, cause as is, my experience with the 1615-1620 push has been 90% artisan average honing success rate.

Haven't made up my mind on if I liked this loaon or not but there were some red flags for me. Ignoring the fact that this is being labelled T4, it reminds me a lot of the transition period at 1415 when people had to start making a lot of long term investments into their characters. We're doing the same investment into gems and books while going through the same gear transition. This time, they seem to have made room in the accessories market for people to switch accessories on the regular. The question remains, once people have mostly finished their long term investments, what will they have left to do with their gold? We're in a cycle of ever increasing weekly incomes with each new raid except, unlike the 1415 transition, everybody is loaded up with full rosters this time. We are entering a "hard" reset with the maximum amount of weekly income available to our rosters. The indecisiveness on how hard of a reset T4 should be doesn't really indicate that we won't fall back into the current state of the game.

Buying lvl 10 t4 gems? Good fucking luck with that,if there is a lvl 10 it will cost a fortune and atm there is no t4 cube announced to get gems from,so the only gem income atm that we know will be chaos dungeons. lvl.10 DMG gems aren't worth such a large premium when they are the exact same ingredient as lvl.10 CD gems. Right now(before the loa-on) you might buy gems because every other power source is over 150k gold per 1% gain. With the new/updated systems there might be better places to spend your gold that offer better returns and use lower gems to be stronger overall.

I wish they address the support issue in general i.e. inability to run any content without them and not enough people playing them. For Cauty and other privileged streamers it won't be an issue, but for most people it is, specially considering that some of those new supports players would be doing solo mode and learn nothing about supporting for months. But overall this LOA ON looked promising, but we still need to see how they implement the promised systems.

Only way to to realistically deal with supports is to dead the system at this point. Give each class healing and shielding skills for the party and increase synergy buffs across the board. Turn all support classes into DPS classes

@mohammadalkfaje927 you literally lose all the accessories and the gold spent for high quality ones. Cheapos who bought spinach accessories are the real winners. I mean I get 9-7 was kinda screwed, but technically do lose 3.5%+ dmg difference vs a 7-7. I'm more annoyed about buying high qual accessories though. Feel like the game needs SOME systems where you "complete" them. It felt good finishing your build with high qual and no negatives

@@chriso6042 yes but the game need to change and u need to know what u bought ganna depressiate in value over time like every thing else so np as long as they reduce the rng and give us good raids and lower the dailes+ u still can upgrade your accessories and they gave u 6*3 for free no stone no negativie no grudge or cd side effect

Huge fucking across the board in my opinion. I wouldve liked to see elixirs and transcendence to be gone entirely to be honest, but I get that thats not possible. Not mad about it, will gladly interact with 2 annoying systems for all the other stuff we get in exchange! I am fucking pumped for tier 4 and also fucking pumped that I dont need to stress for echidna anymore, I can just hone my alts to 1620 and then have 1640s to tackle new playloop in tier 4.

Yea but maybe you want to do some echidna honing before going to t4 anyways because if you echidna hone at t3 you will need akkan mats for that. If you do echidna honing after you are at t4 already you will need t4 mats. I'm not sure what's better but we will know soon

It's gonna be a rough summer since this pretty much kills Advanced Honing and any reason to keep farming T3 materials. With the free jump from 1620>1640 and no announced content in the future that needs more than 1640, there isn't much reason to invest into Advanced Honing now, it would likely be better to wait and save gold to invest into T4 to power spike and all it's new vertical systems then go back and do Thaemine HM when your all juiced up. Anyone who didn't push 1630 already this will likely be the smartest move. The gem, braclet, accessory, material markets are going to dry up, less people will be motivated to keep grinding old content for gold and while some of us will enjoy progging Enchida, within a week that will just be reclear content as well. Long term I think the announcement is actually pretty fire, but short term the game is going to have one miserable summer in terms of player retention. We'll see if those players decide to come back for T4 or if breaking the sunk cost is enough to get them to move on.

Depends how SG handles it. If they were smart they would launch T4 in July with Behemoth (could be August). That way Behemoth doesn’t require advanced honing and just the (hopefully quick) gear transfer to T4. Then let NA/EU have that break for 3-4 months until we get the next raid coming in July from Korea.

@@rc8929 We're speculating September (copium August) since when LOAON finished RU updated the roadmap to have T4 in September (alongside Behemoth), and our cadence has us 1 month ahead of RU. There's a good chance we'll not have to wait long, especially because downtime like this hurts player retention and profits. Nobody be whaling on dead materials lol

The thing its that you still can do adv honing. It the end it still give dmg and 20 itemlv.

It may be cheaper but it's not THAT much cheaper, you'll be investing in +20 ilvl that will cost you millions when you could just simply wait and get those +20 ilvl for free with the T4 switch bringing you to current ilvl for all available content, then when future content comes out that needs higher ilvl, go back and work on adv honing then. Not engaging in the system now and saving that gold to invest into the many new vertical T4 systems is a better plan, unless you want to run Thaemine HM before T4, but even then Thaemine Hm is going to be a lot easier when you are super juiced from T4 and there will likely be transendence nerfs by then, so even that is decentivized

Whoever is upset and wants to go cold turkey and quit---- please donate your gold and gems to new mokokos and uninstall. They'd enjoy that random donation. Two birds with one stone ❤ just do it. No point in complaining for the next year and get your hopes up. I love the new changes. If you don't enjoy playing anymore, just do yourself a favor and move on. There's better things to do with your time than making yourself more unhappy by playing a game you dont have control over. 👌

For me what this loaon has revealed is that there's a bunch of doomers\haters who don't want the game to succeed and want to justify their decision to quit or their frustration if they are still in. This loaon has brought an insane amount of changes that addressed DIRECTLY many things that have been the discussion points in the community, things like solo raids to address gatekeeping early on, making LoS more accessible, the fact that the game needed tier 4 but at the same time couldn't just nullify the progress made in tier 3 through all this time, as it, sure, would bring some new players in but it would also make every veteran player quit, etc. Literally weeks or even days before the loaon you could see comments like "ONLY TIER 4 WILL SAVE THE GAME, BUT IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN SO IT'S DEAD FOREVER". And now these same people, it turns out, are unhappy about having to grind new progression systems in tier 4. Like, what the fuck you expected to happen with tier 4 then, if you didn't want any new progression systems? I'll tell you what you expected. You just expected the game to slowly die and your frustration with the game being justified. But now you have to deal with the fact that the game actually might become much better for the start of tier 4 at least, and you keep spreading doom around because you don't want to admit that by not believing in the devs and not sticking around you signed yourself up to a failure.
