you mean LeBron
@Ovyron6 сағат бұрын
@@adrianbacchus2870 Nah, the difference between Jordan and the rest was so immense the comparison is appropriate. I recently learned that Jordan was the best defender of his era, so even if you forbidden him from scoring your team would still win the game. So in a mano a mano match between LeBron at his best and Jordan at his best, Jordan would win because of his defensive abilities, of all things.
@adrianbacchus28705 сағат бұрын
@Ovyron Magnus Carlsen mirrors LeBron James more than Michael Jordan due to their versatility, adaptability, and longevity. Both dominate through consistency and mastery of all aspects of their fields-LeBron as an all-around player and Magnus as a flexible, strategic chess champion. Like LeBron, Magnus thrives on methodical precision and endurance, focusing on sustained excellence and expanding the global reach of their domains, unlike Jordan's flashier, aggressive dominance.

The end game is where players are all out of preparation, and it is when we see players' true chess capability.
@_sayan_roy_Сағат бұрын
That's not true. Middlegame is also where a lot of chess is being shown, not just endgame. Magnus has a lot of better fundamentals and chess concepts along with his hours of studyings of endgames and that's why he is so much better than the next person in it. He is strong in middlegame too but there are others who are close to him. This is why there are different styles in chess. Magnus employs positional improvements style in middlegame which is a chess capability in and of itself, where he wants to just make it to the endgame with a playable or a slightly winnable position because he knows he is that good and that much better than his opponent in it and often times, it proves to be true. He grinds it. There are other players who have good tactics and try to get it a highly winnable position in middlegame only and that is a chess capability in and of itself.

If Nepo cared more to learn from the recent WCC than be sulkily tweeting against it while also peddling cheating accusations against one of the players, Gukesh (keep in mind he did the same against Hikaru behind both of their backs), he'd have known more of this position which Gukesh and Ding played. Magnus talked about it, appreciated it and learnt it and used it in his own way in the very last game. The difference is clear.
