Correct! It is named after Pappy Waldorf (1902-1981), American football coach, who might've once compared the game to chess with muddy cleats, but really never said such a thing, nor ever knew why he was called Pappy.

Masterpiece is an odd word for this game. Nice game but very double edged. Levon had a strong attack and Magnus outplayed him but it wasn't a complete domination by any stretch and of course things got messy being a rapid game. Appreciate your commentary as always though!

I've heard people complain about your channel. Corny , and repetitive phrases and such. But I don't mind. I prefer agadmator. But you're way better than levy. Jerry is pretty good over at chess network. Fine gold, meh. Yasser, top notch. Forget that other guys name, he's really good. Makes a lot of shorts. But anyways, after my long spiel. You're stuff is solid and I think a good pace for 1000-1500 folks in particular. Also, maybe sometimes , corny moments, but I think they few instances can be over looked by any normal viewers
