Hey guys, hope you enjoyed this video and if not, give me feedback in the comments! I’m trying to get some sponsors on board, which will make doing longer videos like this a 1-2x a week thing, but so far haven’t loved the view count. Want to know if that’s a me thing or just where the algorithm is out for us now. Anyway, appreciate feedback!

Not that the others are bad, but your storytelling and the editing are coming together as one so much more seamless now. stoked that you're doing a couple of these a week now!

Hey there highly supportive and positive individual! KZbin has multiple algorithms, where it can be divided into shorts, regular video and community. I’ve done well with shorts at 830 million views and community, with 1.9 billion impressions last year, but I’m new to long form and I’m trying different things. My longs are seeing about 40,000 views as the average, but this video was an experiment and while I think we did a good job, it wasn’t a mass market topic. So well… Your criticism has been acknowledged and ignored.

It was not stolen, the McDonald brothers made a bad deal. The one brother, who invented the McDonald’s ’process’ was a real know-it-all. He drew up the original licensing/franchisng Agreement and he accepted the Severance Agreement without benefit of a lawyer. People who think they don’t need a lawyer, suffer the consequences‼️

It was actually a very good deal in 1961. The McDonald's company wasn't worth a million dollars, let alone 2.7 million. Ray was doing all the work without Dick and Mac lifting a finger, so the business absolutely fails without Kroc at the helm.

I had a neighbor that was a franchise owner of 3 McDonald’s and I can tell you, that part where Ray Crock reworks the contracts to where McDonald’s own the land AND your required to lease their equipment is very true. In order to buy a McDonald’s you have to sell them the land you want to use. And if you want to open a McDonald’s you can only use their equipment, AND you have to lease it.

No, the docu-movie did show Ray Croc’s wealth. You can obviously see it in the big house that he lived in, the car that he drove, the beautiful wife that he had before replacing her with a younger ‘make and model’ (one of his franchisee’s young wives), and the rich investors whom he knew and recruited from the country club of which he was member of. But this required you to read into the docu-movie though, and/or to put two-and-two together. The docu-movie only showed 10-20 restaurants because they couldn’t really show the whole of what Ray Croc was doin' on a massive scale, even though they alluded to it in the movie that he had become ‘nation wide’ though. So they had to show how Ray did all the groundwork and up, but that he was ‘sleazy’ about how he did it all! He did do a handshake with them, but if you don’t have it on paper-the deal you’ve made, well it sucks to-be you, because you have rely upon their word to keep their end of the bargain with you, sadly. What you got right was that if Ray Croc didn’t do what he did, McDonald’s never would’ve made it out of San Bernardino! The McDonald brothers had no vision, nor did they understand that what Ray was offering them in exchange for their ‘creative control’ was worth its weight in gold, quite literally! And after seeing the empire that Ray Croc had amassed, they stupidly decided to take it on, thinkin' that they were goin' to win 'cause THEY were the original founders of McDonald’s. What the movie also got right was that the McDonald brothers were real ‘sticklers’ too (a stickler is a person who is non-flexible and insists on a certain way and/or quality or type of behavior and who won’t budge on their position either [they won’t adapt to change])!

The McDonald's brothers might've started it, but Ray Kroc was the one that turned it into a multi-billion dollar franchise. The McDonald's brother were OK with being decently wealthy and didn't built the brand in the same way Ray Kroc did, so Ray Kroc did deserve most of the credit

The movie made it seem like he did it without their consent. If you take someone's business, buy a franchise from them, and grow it; that would be underhanded. If you bought a franchise from them, owned that, and then created your own business, and then expanded that; it would seem like then he would be deserving of whatever he created.
