Overall I like OW2 over OW1. I like a lot of the QOL improvements, pinging, support role passive, somewhat toned down CC, lack of double shield. I am 6v6 believer and wish they could have reworked the game to prevent double shields. As it is now tank is such high pressure role. If your team has a less experienced tank it’s such a struggle. Heck if any one person on the team is struggling it’s such a huge handicap in a 5-team than it is in a 6-team game.

I believe that they're both equally good. OW1, unlike some others, I liked the double roles even in tank. I liked the availability of some maps etc and just a different rotational gameplay (this also was probably the reason for such strong ults). I like OW2 due to the fact that there are more characters, more playable modes, as well as the rotation reminds me more of Paladins so there's another level of familiarity. I don't think one is better than the other. I'd still play it even if it was OW1 comp-

Loved seeing the Pharah gameplay for the first point, any slight deviation from McCassidy is always appreciated, even though your Cass is insanely fun to watch. Now, to answer the title question; no, I honestly don't believe that OW1 was better than OW2 is, especially at this point in both of their respective life cycles (might get a bit of hate from the other OGs, but I've got plenty of supporting reasons)

Well at least your happy now. But, both paladins and this game is garbage. OW 1 was objectively the better product. This game is based off hard counters and who can swap the most. 6v6 was optimal, but the devs switched to 5v5 and didn't take the necessary precautions to nerf and limit certain characters and playstyles. Now the only reason to play the game is for skins. Competitive is dead as far as im concerned.

I can at least agree with you on the main point of this comment. Both games are garbage. Honestly, 99% of the games out right now are garbage.
