I quit the game and came back after 2-3 years, and after updating myself on everything that changed in the comp scene, Bugha is still that guy. Impressive asf that he’s in his 20s too and he’s this elite not many pros can boast this as so many quit. Most these new goats be born in 07 now and are even younger. Prime Bugha esp going back to back to back was legendary.

I remember very vividly in the weeks leading up to world cup pretty much anyone you would ask would say they thought Bugha was going to win solos. Its actually how i discovered him, because he streamed at the time and I wanted to see who everyone thought would win. Saying no one thought he had a chance is a def cap on your side.

I’d say he’s definitely insane and one of the greats , but I don’t think that World Cup should be seen as valuably as Having a globals win. Theirs much more competition nowadays, the skill ceiling is much higher , and players are better than ever. Him winning World Cup was still insane and amazing, but that was at a time when the comp scene wasn’t developed like it is now and was still at its infancy .
