My building/editing, mechanical skill in general was better than his by then, and if I was better than him on my miserable hardware, imagine how many random advanced players on high end hardware were even better than me. He like a lot of people just finally found something they can compete at a high level in without needing to stress about grinding builds 8+ hours a day. It was just more fun. Same reason why I play almost exclusively zb these days. It's not that I couldn't build and edit, I just found that the stress of learning and keeping up with it was overtaking the fun of it. Builds has also always had fundamental problems when it came to ping and trying to take builds and hold your own builds. If you fought somebody with 0 ping when you're on 30, even if they're not technically better you just lost because you can't really do anything. That was the thing for me personally that turned me away from builds. No use practicing when the people you're fighting live in the basement of the servers.

What people don’t realize is that he didn’t just start streaming or being good at destiny. He literally got worlds first in raids, did solo and duo worlds firsts and really helped put the game on the map. He was one of THE best at the game in the best clan.
