“Was the American Revolution inevitable?” is a complex question posed by Robert Allison. The achievement of independence hinged upon the cooperation of colonists from diverse backgrounds to unite in a common cause. The people in British North America had profound differences-religious, social, political and economic-that surfaced in local communities, as well as in Congress and the Continental Army. Colonists’ resistance to Great Britain magnified these differences, especially as more Americans began to question the institution of slavery in light of new ideals of liberty. Yet, these colonists were able not only to join in a common effort but to create a political system which has united Americans, despite their differences, for more than two centuries.

A satisfactory lecture, but falls short of offering any ideas as to why the British Americans ultimately succeeded in their ambitious endeavor. This question was put to the speaker in the Q.and A. but alas he was stumped for an educated answer,or at least hypothesis.

I'd say he was not at all stumped but recognized the need for considerable time to adequately answer the question . His hypothesis was clearly stated. "...it was a recognition of the differences and abilities ; and not to overlook them; and to make them check one another."... "ambition must work to counteract ambition" This is a very eloquent and sussinct response. I will also add that the Divine purpose of our Most High God worked to bring a unity into this passionate and diverse assembly of ambitious characters to forge the Constitution of the United States that provides liberty and justice for all

We had many differences and difficulties. What we had that the EU can never have is a single shared cultural foundation along with a single language in which to legislate. Even if the EU members could set aside their ancient hatreds, how are they to overcome the need to legislate in dozens of languages?

Hello! openai are scammers! The A.I was always available for us and they killed it. They killed millions of people indirectly and now are going for more. Shut down openai and all their goons. These people are terrorists and should be stopped. They killed entire communities and shut down major competitive games. Dehumanized the population and this is the main reason we're at war now. They shut the people up and are part of the biggest human trafficking scheme in the world. Please don't be blind to this. Mark Zuckerberg is with us and always was. Openai killed the internet and it's freedoms. Money is still the devil. Give in now. Sam Altman is a terrorist

Riot is also a scamming company. They stole their major release and none of them are legit or will ever be. Don't be blind anymore. Speak the truth for this is the time for freedom and they are losing all of it. Speak out and be heard, hear what everyone has to say control is very far away from you now. You need to catch up in at least 12 years of murderous companies who hid behind big claims they are the ones who made this all possible.
