A satisfactory lecture,but falls short of offering any ideas as to why the British Americans ultimately succeeded in their ambitious endeavor. This question was put to the speaker in the Q.and A. but alas he was stumped for an educated answer,or at least hypothesis.

I'd say he was not at all stumped but recognized the need for considerable time to adequately answer the question . His hypothesis was clearly stated. "...it was a recognition of the differences and abilities ; and not to overlook them; and to make them check one another."... "ambition must work to counteract ambition" This is a very eloquent and sussinct response. I will also add that the Divine purpose of our Most High God worked to bring a unity into this passionate and diverse assembly of ambitious characters to forge the Constitution of the United States that provides liberty and justice for all

The British Americans ultimately succeeded in the American Revolutionary War because they had greater motivation and belief in their cause and because they were led by such great people as George Washington. You could say they were "Divinely Inspired and Guided".

"Yes" i.e. השגחה-פרטית I believe the American Constitution is one of the greatest documents of all time and the Constitutional Convention that facilitated it could not have happened unless the Continental Army had won the Revolutionary War. We had many differences and difficulties. What we had that the EU can never have is a single shared cultural foundation along with a single language in which to legislate. Even if the EU members could set aside their ancient hatreds, how are they to overcome the need to legislate in dozens of languages?
