A great video to watch would be his ps3 vs 360 video where he goes over a bit of the history of the consoles, the console war and the pros and cons of each console and which he prefers between the two

Great to see another Scott The Woz reaction. I still recommend Wii Accessories and Nintendo DS Accessories. Alternatively, Scott has released a compilation of the two episodes on his Scott's Snippets channel. I'd recommend reacting to the compilation if you'd like to watch both episodes in one video.

18:11 to this day: the steel battalion controller is the biggest controller ever to release. And playing the game (from the video I’ve seen) is really complicated because in order to turn on your mech, you gotta do a whole startup sequence, pressing different buttons in a certain order just to even start playing every time. It’s immersive, yes, but really complicated.

Fun Fact: The 360 Kinect is actually still advanced enough technologically to be repurposed into a fullbody tracking system for some PCVR games with... varying degrees of success. It's still pretty cool that old tech can be reused in ways like that though.

The only feature of the Kinect that was relevant to me was back when they released an update to Skyrim that introduced compatibility with Kinect. No motion controls. You used its voice mic to actually speak commands that would work in game. The primary command was using Shouts, special magic that relies on your characters Voice. They made it so you can say the name of the Shout out loud, and after a slight delay it would activate. Or you can speak each individual word of the Shout to only partially activate. It was pretty cool. But like most things with the Kinect, it was fun for like 2 or 3 uses then you never use it again, because you can just press the Shout button and it activates as much as you want without delay.

Probably my most played Kinect game was Kinect sports 2 because my favorite to play was Darts and also another one was Kinect Star Wars I somehow made it work and my favorite Modes to play was the Rancor Mode where you control a Rancor to destroy things eat people throw people and the dance mode where you dance to different songs which has a very known song about Han Solo there is even a song where the Emperor himself comes out does a dance for everyone.

Got one for Christmas the year it came out...I did not want it. Barely a month later I could find them in thrift stores and gamestop used bins for under 30 bucks. But I kept mine even to this day. Only got a few games for it but it's a good lineup. Fruit Ninja and Gunstringer which came with the kinect are each a blast. I'd recommend checking out videos about the latter (Roosterteeth helped make it btw). Child of Eden was a great cyber rail shooter. Haunt was a decent haunted house exploration. And there was a great meditation guide in disguise called Depak Chopra Leela.

I will not stand for steel batalion slander, i played it a week ago just for fun because i still have my kinect and my 360 and it was awesome, it's hard and Stressful but in a good way, having to stand up, put gamepad away quickly and take it while keeping the crew from abandoning you was good (also my kinect never lags, even now it has perfect tracking for me)

My favourite was steel batalion, do you want to know why? It was stressful because it was actually hard, you have to manage so manyt things at once and keep your crew from going insane and switching between hand mode and gamepad mode was also a fun challenge

The Kinect is very overengineered. Many hospitals had brought them for surgeons to view documents or whatever mid surgery, The Singapore airport uses two kinects in each luggage Dropoff! Weirdly advanced for silly motion control game console
