W thoughts, couldn’t agree more. Just started a TWD rewatch and I can’t even fathom when we see Daryl for the first time in episode 3 that it’s the same guy that’s in France with Laurent and Isabelle 😂

The writing, the shots, the characters, the location, and the zombies I loved and made me love this universe again like I have always loved this universe but it was feeling the same old same old but this felt fresh and new.

The idea itself made no sense. All of a sudden Daryl is in france instead of out looking for rick or michonne. But the execution with the exception of episodes 3 and 4 were perfect in my opinion. We explored the fall of france, daryls past and motivations. I wish we got to see som CRM connections, and I wish they didnt rush that whole cordon plot in the last episode. It made the story feel a little bit lazy and rushed

Completely agree! I loved this season but was very frustrated with no connection to the CRM especially considering he came over on a ship from America carrying variant Walkers it would seem an obvious connection and something the fans would love but for some reason they went another way with it

I did quite enjoy this series. Didn't expect to like it more than Dead City but here we are. Saying it's the best is a stretch though, there's still convenient plot points, overdone villains and we spent an episode helping a group of kids. I'm honestly very curious which episodes of the first season of FEAR aren't bangers in your opinion. The writing and cinematography is unmatched there if you ask me.

I like the tattoo faced guy (Codron) a lot too. I hope he survives and we find out why he spared Daryl’s life. I love this show because we have no idea where anything is going. The last two episodes were 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I can’t wait for season two.

I got through about 2 eoisodes of dead city before ultimately falling off and i got through literally thw first episode of daryl dixon before falling off. Its not rhat i dislike them , in fact i really really wanna love them but for some reason they just dont grav my attention at all. I remember i took several breaks just getting through one episode because i would switch from my AMC qpp to my KZbin app and get distracted because id see a video that obviously grabbed my interest more than the show did. Aside from the main characters who we have spent years caring about i cant find any other characters in these spin offs that i can be bothered to care about and so im basically just watching the show to get more content involving daryl or maggie and negan but i dont think thats enough for me. Hopefully The ones who live is better and if anything im gonna make time to finish the first 2 shows but something about them just makes me want to put off watching them.

Fear has been a roller coaster but not in a good way. After season 3 it got pretty bad then season 6 was great and it slowly went downhill after that. The first half of season 8 was sooo bad. I'm always sticking up for TWD but I'll only go so far LOL

great video jerry i thought daryl was a great season of tv and had fun watching every episode. definitely an upgrade from dead city which wasn’t bad but a rise in quality is never bad. hopefully the rick show keeps up with that. and did u mean tank dempsey from zombies 🤣

I get that it's based on a comic book series and that sometimes the turns that the story takes are beyond weird and improbable but some storylines are a bit much. But at least it ticks all the right boxes, love the richly diverse casting and all the strong independent women, even dropping in a big nasty girl boss just for fun! Think I'll be skipping the "Book of Carol".

This show is aa joke, the writing is awful. Changing the atmosphere from scientific to spiritual is the worst move they could have made. Had to stop halfway through season 1

I didn't care much about this series. I will always like Daryl and his story, but this story of him ending up in Paris and getting lost was ridiculous. Why Paris? Why couldn't he stay in the US, just another part of the country, like the West Coast? He could have met up with survivors from "Fear The Walking Dead". By the end of season 1, I was very very BORED. I may not watch season 2.

The only thing I didn’t like was the cgi walkers in some scenes. They of course did great practical effects but sometimes to save time or money they used the fakest looking digital versions and it takes me out of the scene.

Better written a actor can only do so much if the written is shit the actor can only do so much that goes for dead city and fear of the walking dead
