Kwikstop Vintage has tons of rare vintage items & grails that he finds at rag houses in South Florida & had received a very serious $150,000 offer to purchase his entire collection. But can a hardcore collector really sell their entire collection or do they keep it no matter what the price is?

It is so great to see you here now! I've been listening to you and Chris' since you both launched your podcast. I've been reselling on and off since 1999. It truly is crazy when we think of how much has changed since we started this crazy 'hustle'. Times were so 'minimal' back then, with little technology allowing us to get information while hunting for treasures. We went with what we did know or our instinct. Payments went thru snail mail. Thrift stores were a discount with gems! So much more we can list. The fact that I was a buyer for at least a year before I sold my first item, truly opened my eyes to how important a thorough title, detailed picture, description, and photos are. I grabbed some great deals because of the lack of those categories. I also learned how important it was to double-check for typos, as I was getting steals because some sellers were misspelling brand names! Also, customer service mattered - how quick something was shipped as well as any questions or concerns were addressed. You are doing great showing the newbies that these 'simple' things is what leads to sales. :) Along with discipline and goals.

I see a lot of people in the reselling community refer to t-shirts as "vintage" just because they're on single stitch. Can you explain, or even do a video, on how all t-shirts on single stitch are not necessarily vintage...or even that all vintage are not necessarily on single stitch?
@technsports
@technsports 11 ай бұрын
We did in the video. It's due to tags and materials, dates, etc. Mostly due to tags. They make single stitch Ralph Lauren shirts today. But a certain tag RL shirt would be vintage. A single stitch shirt on a present day tag would not be vintage. The stitching on the shirt is due to the thickness in the cotton used. Thicker shirts, double. Thinner shirts, single.

Man dude...my fav thrift store is already onto your content. No joke. Question. Do you ever approach your hookups about them jacking prices up on you? I've had a couple hook up stores for years, and they are low traffic and hold stuff for me...but it's getting to the point where hook up or not, I'm leaving most of it. Nobody else is buying it either, and the stuff sits, but prices keep getting laughable. It's getting really tough in my area stores.

Love your content!
