Ugh electric sewing machines 😅 I got on ok with a manual Treadle machine- very controllable- well needed some custom Cockpit Shading Canopies for my last Boat, and found a brilliant deal on a new Singer electric one in the USA- reviews said plenty powerful enough with the right needles etc, and a couple of other good extras, so took the plunge. Well the thing was really Really powerful and Friend Don I was staying with and yours truly just couldn’t handle the thing 🤣🤣🤣 Then massive good luck, Don’s daughter turned out to be a Seamstress, and wow was she impressive handling that thing. Don had some Custom Fabric work for upholstery work on a 57 Chevy he was restoring, and daughter had projects coming up too, so the Singer had a great home with those two, and I never wanted to see another electric Sewing machine either. 🤣🤣🤣. haha yeah they are not easy to handle. so happy Michael took the lead here and just applied himself. always amazed how he just learns whatever is needed. Glad to hear your Singer found a good home, those are beautiful (strong) machines.
