Was this Budget Fortnite PC worth Building?

He guys, I hope your having a good day. In this video we scrambled some parts together to build a cheap budget Fortnite gaming PC. Was this worth putting together? or is this all "e-waste" let me know your thoughts and opinions down below in the comments.

I enable all cores in system configuration makes a big difference if gaming ram can enable xmp in bios 👍

Hey! Coming from somebody who knows a pretty good amount about computer parts and specs, you should've just saved up for better components. Waiting until Black Friday in November to buy good parts is always better than buying less powerful parts. The discounts on retailers are big discounts. Like I wanted a computer with a 3060 and a Ryzen 5 but I waited until Black Friday and I got a Ryzen 9 for about the same price instead. But great video and good luck with your Fortnite journey.

Thank you for the kind words and thoughts! My market around me is slow right now and people are not looking to spend lots of money right now. These budget PC’s I build gain a lot of traction in my market right now. So for now, I will be building a good amount of budget PC’s. Thanks again for the kind words 🙂

@RobertFixit I wish! 😅 I maybe could have accomplished that price with a used PSU and maybe a slightly sketchier motherboard 😂 but I digress. This was in-fact an estimated $260 build. P.s. I include taxes with my final build price. So if you wanted to, you could shave off like maybe $20-30 worth of taxes give or take 🤷🏻‍♂️

I still think it’s fair to consider it a gaming pc, albeit.. it’s a very low-end gaming pc that’s meant for E-sports titles and older games. But I understand where you’re coming from. My FB Marketplace market around me right now is mostly Interested in running either FiveM or Fortnite and sometimes CS2. Due to this demand, I build PC’s based off of customer demand.

@@toothy great question, I did provide a total amount to build this system towards the end of the video. But it was about $260 for me to build it. P.S. this system is already sold and actually sold pretty fast. Hence why I told others in the comments.. this is the kind stuff my market is interested in right now.

@@toothy I misread your other comment, about using a GTX 970 instead of the 960 4GB I used. Most GTX 970’s can be had for $50-$60 on eBay used. So maybe $280ish for a 970 build. But I would spare the extra $25 for an i7-4770 too. It’s a much more capable processor.

Ngl, pretty trash. These components are super out of date and for this budget you could’ve gotten last-gen parts instead. $150 on aliexpress for 3600, b450m, and 16gb of ram. A used 6650XT on eBay for $150, good case choice, SSD, should’ve gotten spatium m450 for $36, didn’t get to see power supply but A550BN is the best 550W psu. And nice cooler.
